I haven't been keeping up with prices but last time I checked, these sold for about $1k. Are sealed Cheetahmen really going for this much, or is it just a fluke? Big hole in the shrink on back too:

Yeah a guy on here named Zartan hit the BIN and then tried to sell it for 4k here... we are not sure if he went through with the transaction or not.

Ahh, I see. Just read the thread. So I guess $2400 is too much for this? Just trying to get an idea of what my sealed copy is worth.

This is no where near $2400 for this game, that guy was nuts to pay that much. This game is worth $600-$700 tops if its MINT.

It just got relisted for the original $3300k BIN, looks like Zartan reneged on his purchase after he found he didn't have a buyer.

Interesting tactic, putting an expensive item on hold, then trying to presell it to us here at NA for 150%, then just cancelling the order when the get-rich-quick scheme doesn't work.

Yeah, I could see myself giving $600 or so for it and that's it (though I'd prefer a nice CIB for a bit less). I also was thinking Zartan made a misprint when I saw that $4000 price tag.

Heh, I'd would go even lower than that and sell mine for $1500. Times are tough now so I gotta make some sacrifices.

If Zartan did back out on the deal, that's pretty weak.

Stealing auction pictures, backing out of eBay deals after an agreement has been made, selling items that are not yet in your possession, and selling said item at a $1,600 markup. Not exactly a great first impression if you ask me.

Very good info, thanks Qix!

On that note, if anyone has actual information pertaining to members that were banned for shoddy business practices, most notably full name and city/country of origin, that information would be extremely helpful for the Hall of Shame.

I might know someone interested in you. Are you flexible on the $1800 and is that for the whole night?

To whom this may concern.
I've read the remarks of everyone on the boards regarding this issue. So, I'll make my only response concise and brief. First, I used a picture that was not mine for BB2, it was wrong, I admitted to it, that was all. Here is a picture to clear the air:

Second, CMII, you all have worked yourself into a frenzy postulating and assuming things about me personally and what might have happened. Yes, I did try and make a profit and the price was too high. I won the auction, therefore the picture was mine. Many may disagree with this issue for many reasons, this is not my concern. What concerns me is clearing the air. Now, not that this is ANY of anyone's business but my own, but yes I was forced to "renege" on the deal as it were for personal reasons. Why? Let me briefly give you an idea, as again, this is nobody's business, but it started with me wondering "??" where is the money I had for this.....a few phone calls later....credit card statements....ruining anniversary surprise.....woman mad, massive $$$ on games....sleeping on a sofa... have an idea?
I'm not particular concerned about how this response is seen, but in my mind I felt it necessary to defend my name from being besmirched any further. However, I'm not going to say I wouldn't have reacted the same way that many of you all did, but as this is the internet and people jump to conclusions and make assumptions, it is what it is.

P.S. I did make another account. Why? I couldn't log in, figured I'd been banned and I wanted to make a response. Made another, remembered the reason I couldn't log in was because I switched my e-mail address right before this shit-storm started and a new password is sent to the new address, but I didn't realize this until today when the ip was banned. I was too tired last night to make an intelligible response and I hadn't slept much as it were.
I didn't want to air any of this; I'm not looking for sympathy, understanding, or anything else. I just want this to be what it is, an explanation. So please stop sending me negative comments, you don't know anything except what was assumed.
Otherwise, it was nice getting to know some of you during my brief time here. With that, I tip my hat and bid you all good day.

Everyone has bills. Most people only spend when they can afford to do so. It shows that you make BIG commitments that you can not keep.

Worse yet you made a commitment with no intention of completeing it unless you could flip it for a profit. One day one of us may be on the other side of the table that you are jerking around.

THAT is why it is our business.

Let me say (before the thread is locked of course) that I cold give two shits when it comes to your personal life. You have extremely questionable selling ethics, and you're a complete detriment to this close knit community. I'm glad to hear you wont be coming back. You're a shady cock sucker, and we don't need any headaches here.

On a side-note, I like how you posted a loose BB2 instead of a dead mint CIB copy like you claimed to have owned lol.

Go troll over at DP. They'll be waiting for you.
