My favorite homebrews are the Xmas carts, can't wait!

for those worried, I don't believe I've ever seen them out of stock, I think Brian just makes as many as are bought, (and hopefully has an infinite stash of the christmas tree boards!)

I don't give out release dates, so Nov 1-2 is definitely not the goal for when it will be for sale There will only be 8 bit this year. Unless the cart is far more popular than my highest estimates there will be no limited quantity problems. It will be purchasable until Dec 31 and the full demo will be downloadable from the site when it goes up. Just waiting on music and printing now!

I think Shiru did the first homebrew for 16bit xmas.

His Classic Kong has still not had a proper release.  Maybe you could talk him into to re-skin it, and adding snow and a tree to the title screen.  (Sounds silly but I'd be first in line to buy it!)

Got to keep the 16bit streak alive Brian!

You're right, his Classic Kong never got a "proper" release... Vlad and I may have to do something about that at some point if noone else is going to.

What?
I picture Bart Simpson writing this on the chalkboard: "I will not play NES during Study Hall," er, something.

Starting to make videos now. Would expect selling to start on Sun/Mon, and first carts shipping on Thurs/Fri.

Anyone know what the largest NES display ever was? Like how many systems were set up total at NWC stops?

Just a question, where would we look to find out when it's available? I'd love to get one as soon as they're for sale!

Is there a chance that the Xmas cart and Study Hall will be released simultaneously? I'd really like to save on shipping costs

Unfortunately Study Hall isn't ready yet, but its possible they will be for sale at the same time. I do not expect to sell out of xmas carts so ordering right at the beginning won't be necessary.

There are two threads going on simultaneously!

I've already preordered mine, although the preorder period didn't last long!

Just got a little bit excited, that's all. For those of us that snuck orders in earlier tonight, will they still be honored?

I'm asuming that's a prototype label, but I could be wrong.
