How I never came across this site before, I don't know. I have been gobbling up content and the forum for the last couple of days. This is definitely a place I can call home.
I'm a multi-system collector, but with a Nintendo bias. I'm not strictly tied to any company; I think all consoles have their merits. I appreciate the old and new games. I was always the go to person in school for questions about Nintendo games. It sounds like my story is pretty similar to most of the community.
(Some) NA readers will probably be interested in a side project my brother and I have called the VRC6s. We created this band for something called the RPM project, which is a yearly "contest" to create and record an album in the month of February. We knew there'd be no shortage of song ideas if we wrote about video games. And of course, the majority of it is about the NES. There's even a song called "Rock Your NES" - I mean, c'mon! I released the whole thing for free on my record label. You can download it all at last.fm. We are currently working on our second album.
