Anyone able to put these on Snes and N64 carts and have them be playable???

You can find Master Quest on Aliexpress fairly easily.

I've never seen or heard of this? Do you know how long they've been available for?

They haven't been widely seen for all that long. There was an NA post about a youtube video showing the master quest cart a few weeks back and several users tracked it down to aliexpress.

Aliexpress I dont trust. Bet they use cheap material.

Awesome, that means our good friends have fresh N64 boards coming up for all our future homebrew.

I have a MQ from Ali Express, they used the ROM from the GameCube disk so it crashes before the end credits, other than that it plays fine

That version of the game is broken and will crash during the ending cutscene, FYI. As Mr.Pete said, it's using a straight Gamecube ROM version, which is buggy and crashes during the ending sequence.

What about your version?

Retro's ROM works without any issues, it also has all the N64 icons instead of the GC icons for the menus and stuff

I ordered a cart of aliexpress a while ago, what does the board hardware look like? I can't imagine that it would be difficult to replace whatever chip is on there with a programmable one containing a patched rom.

I posted a picture a few post up, the board uses a Spansion S29GL256N

However there are not many programmers that can program that chip, cheapest I found was a Wellon programmer for about $400 US
