Scored this for $200 last friday. Everyone and their mom was there, literally. Games were priced based on sticker color. Using all my skills I picked these out

Last weekend (felt pretty discouraged and I've been exhausted so I haven't been out much)

Advertised as having gamecube and ps2 games. I looked around and saw nothing great, short stack of PS2 games with a slim ps2 with cables 5 controllers (which tells me some of the controllers are probably broken).

I picked these up and walked over to the g-ma under the tent and asked how much the games were. The g-ma asked the kid who told me 25 cents. I'm like okay, I can do that. I showed them both photos of my collection. The g-ma stared at me giving me this weird look, so I stared back at her, then finally I'm like, What?? Nothing!

Then the mom walks over and asks what we were doing and the g-ma said I got a steal with 25 cents each, then this....

She desperatly looked at me then at the games, her son, then back at me. "Your buying these for 25 cents each???"
"Yeah well he set the price" g-ma
"Your buying these for 25 cents???" mom
"Yeah I-" me
"Your just going to SELL THESE ON EBAY!!!!"
"WHAT? NO, I'm not!"
"Yes you are... YES YOU ARE." mom
"No, I'm NOT. You WANT TO SEE WHAT THESE ARE WORTH??? We'll look them up right now!" me
"Didn't you see his photos... I think he's a collector" g-ma

I pulled out my phone. "We'll look at the very first game on top" me
"You don't have to do that..." mom
"IM LOOKING IT UP" me

Unforutnately most of the barbie listings were $6 sold, till I found one for $3.

"LOOK, $3. That says SOLD. This game SOLD for $3..." me
"I'm sorry, I just wish we talked about this first, 25 cents-" mom
"Generally I don't have a problem paying $1 a game" me
"Okay that would be really nice, I'm sorry... I just wish we talked about this first...." mom
I pulled out a ten and two ones and threw it on the table
"Have a nice day" me
"I'm sorry-" mom. At this point I just walked off

$12-

This past weekend I had a bit of better luck

$45 (Saturday)-

$15 (Sunday)-

Almost forgot! Picked this up for $31. She tried to bundle it with a shitty small t.v. for $10 and I had to talk her into not including it.

Star ocean no manual, and kingdom hearts actually had digimon for PS1 inside!

Some of the games are totally beat to hell, and alex the kid cart looks like it was a dog toy at one point

"Well I bundle it with the t.v. because you get more money like that, and people want it more"

Turning down televisions, I like it. I've had to turn down a television like 4x now, only once did I accept. It was because she was offering me roughly a $50 discount if I took it. Who can deny one for that kind of deal. I put it up for free and some goofball shows up like 2 hours later for it.

Last friday (8/8) $15 -->

Yesterday (8/13)

$6.00 -->

I was sorting through these like a mad man.  Nothing good at all.  So many games.  W . T . F??  They went inside and got more, again, nothing nothing !  A reseller walked up.  I said to him that I was buying all those.  He kept picking them up anyways.  I held out the sleeve of wii games and said See?  Nothing good.... He looked it over and then passed on the boxed wii with 6 games included for $40.

They were putting them all together while I checked the inside of most of the games.  All cib, minty, except for the goddamn stickers on the front.  Finally, I'm like I'm surprised you don't have any marios...  I think she said she sold them already, and I did not care to ask anything else about them.  They kept the ds systems which I forgot to offer on those too, looked like they had the boxes but maybe not the cardboard tray inserts, as it was with the boxed wii.  She would not offer first.  Using my skills, I valued this lot at $300, if I was lucky.  Turned out to be $315 (along with a gba game not photoed).  I only point this out because of how accurate I was.  Sooo I guess originally everything would have been 150, so %30 of 300 I should have started at $80 and I asked for $100, she countered $120, then we agreed on $110.  I should have been more up front about the poor titles.  I should have said this- not one mario, not one metroid, not one pokemon, not one donkey kong, not one super mario galaxy.  Most of these I didn't have and are in great shape so I was okay paying that much for them. -->

Today (8/14) -->

Another milestone, a panasonic 3DO.  Not sure if it works, I desperately asked if he had any games, and it was mentioned it may not work. -->

This kid told me $2.00 for all these.  I said we'll uh check the price with your parents.  He says this is my descicion and they have nothing to do with it.  I'm like okay, how about $10.  He says I got change.  I hand him $10, hes like you need change?  No I do not.-->

For the first time I bought PS3 games.  Not sure how I feel about this.. 15$-->

Offered $20 on this, has the motion attachments on all 3 controllers.  She said she may call me if her sister has any games.. -->

$75 She would not seperate -->

$5 -->

Wii games 10$
Controller 0.25$-->

The lady who sold me the controller also had a pornographic clock, which showed pretty much everything.  It was just sitting out next to a canister of ritz crackers. UH WOW

This definately tops the used grinder I found last year.

Here is a link to the photo, I did censor it though. http://i1341.photobucket.com/albu...

I've seen ninja stars, katanas, swords, guns, ammo, USED LIQUOR!!!! I was in a rich neighborhood and this guy had what looked to be 3/4 full bottles of crown and other top shelf liquors just down the street from me.

I've also seen playboys but that clock was full frontal.

I served this lady who told me she was having a bad day, then I forgot her god damn ketchup, twice.  She seemed upset at this and I told her that I was sorry and that I was making her day that much worse and she told me that her mom just died.  I hugged her and paid for her meal.  I told her that someone saw that she was upset and paid for it.  She came in again a couple weeks later.  She overheard me talking about garage sailing and she brought these in a couple weeks later and gave them to me for free.  Then she told me she had gameboy games with the box and everything... I have not seen her since. -->

Last weekend I only went to a few sales scored this at one of them for $15-->

A few days ago I get a call from a lady who said I gave her my number back in May.  I met up with her yesterday and she had all these.  She wanted me to see them first, then leave, then we work something out.  She told me she was trying to look them up on ebay.  I gave her my max offer, $150, which she declined.  WTF.  THEN I OFFERED $200 which she reluctantly agreed.  I'm just like... I normally don't pay this much... but she was nice and she called me and everything.  Still not a bad deal but wtf.--->

I picked these up through out the day (Saturday) after having been out all day Thursday (nothing).

Top row $5
Second row $20
Third row $10 (and was told one of the games does not work) --->

Last weekend

I think I got both these on Saturday, only things I got that weekend

$25 -->

$15 -->
And I have to share this story!  I was walking up the driveway and she looks at me says

"You must be looking for N64 games!" lady
"As a matter of fact I am!" me
"You were here last week, right?"
".. Uh yeah.  I came back!" me.  I was not there that past week.
"I'm glad you came back.  I wen't home and went through those games and brought these." lady
"Awesome, thank you so much!  I really appreciate it!" me

We start looking through the games, beetle driving adventure w/ manual 15$, goldeneye w/ manual $15, mortal kombat sub zero $10...

"Uhhhh.... are these the prices?" me
"Yeah I looked them all up on ebay.  Not only that but I called the exchange and they said their selling goldeneye for $20 and I have it for $15 with the manual!" lady
"Mam... to be honest the exchange purposely overprices certain games.  They will even tell you this.  They will say someone will buy them because they don't care or know" me
"Well, I looked it up on ebay and goldeneye is going for $15 actually" lady
"Okay..."  I pulled out my phone just like a stupid reseller and got on my price charting app. "Let me show you the app I use in pricing stuff.  Okay, so sub zero is going for $8, and you have it at $10.... so I guess thats kind of a fair price.  Now if you sell it on ebay, ebay and paypal take %10 in fees altogether, so thats - 1 dollar, and then you have to pay $3.00 for shipping" me. i just really wanted that game for like $3-4
"I'll just mail it media mail" lady.  This surprised me
"Mam, you can only mail books, cds, and records media mail." me
"and games" lady
"No, you cant mail video games media mail" me
"Oh you can't?  Well if I don't sell these games at these prices, I'm putting them up on ebay." lady
f- it!  At this point I started looking up every single game to see if she slipped on her pricing.
"Those two games are going for $30 together, and this one has the manual" lady pointing at the snowboarding games
I'm just like... W T F.  W T F IS GOING ON.  I was upset.  Normally at this point I would have thrown a temper tantrum and stormed off.  "Mam, if that beetle game is $15, I will be really surprised because I already have it." me... "Mam, thats like a $6 game."
"It's cheaper than the exchange" lady.
Out of shock I looked up the last 2 games.  I did this on ebay and I only put in snowboard kids, which had 1 & 2 results, and they were going for about $30 each loose..
"You want $10 for each of those games?..." me
"Yeah" lady
"Can you do.. $15 for both?"
"Yeah!" Lady.
After that I was in a great mood.  I showed her photos of my bookshevles and pickups, she was astonished.  I wished her the best of luck on ebay, hoping that the guy who she thought I was was a reseller comes back and see's they have been cherrypicked and overpriced, and hoping that she would put her games up for auction and make like $20.  I thought I recognized the house, maybe she had a yardsale a month or so earlier, but I definately was not there last week, and I don't remember someone telling me to come back that looked like her.

Hey gamers!  I got an amazing deal at target.  Shortly before Thanksgiving Target had a buy 2 video games get 1 free.  I bought combinations of Pokemon Ruby and Luigi's Mansion, because these games were also already discounted to 28.99.  I then sold these for either 32.99 or 33.99 each on ebay.  I got back $26 for each game I sold.  I got mostly pokemon figuring it would hold up its value better.  I also signed up for a Target card, getting %5 off on a few of these.  29x2=58 58-52=$6 a game.  So I paid about $48 for the 3DS games.  I did open one of the pokemons because the game had gotten loose inside the case.

Nintendo controllers & snes game $3 each and gameboy color $6.  Few notable PS1 games out of another 10 PS1 games and $20 ps2 games or so games I found, PS1 $1.50 each , PS2 $0.75 each

pokemon diamond DS and jungle freeze 3DS $8.00 for both

DS lot-

And I debated putting this in the seller selliness thread!  I was BIN hunting and this guy listed 5 random ds games for $25.  A few of these games were in one of the photos.  He said in the description just tell me what kind of games you like, and I'll try to pick those out for you.  So if you like shooting games, I will try to pick out some games similar to that

So I messaged him and asked him if I could just pick the games from the photos.  I picked 4 out and then said I couldn't even see what the other games are and asked for a list.

Those were the ones I picked out for $25.  He mailed them media mail, ew.  One of the pokemon games wont load it's saved game without freezing.  Will have to look into that.  Some of the games have teethmarks, either by dog or human.  1/4 artwork on the one game.  I already had every one of these games except for one of the pokemon games

Thanks! The reset button was completely stuck down and there was no power a/v cable. First I tried using a wet toothbrush, then I unscrewed and opened the system, popped out the button, scrubbed it, and tested it and worked perfectly! There was also mario party with a huge blockbuster sticker, exchange sticker over the side, that was completely cemented

...Then... this came in the mail for $100

I saw the wii games with some other games on a gaming tower shelf.  Not much.  I asked how much.  He said offer.  I said I dont know, what are you looking to get.  He said why not you just grab a hand ful.  I awkwardly asked if he wanted like a dollar a game.  He asked if that was what I was offering.  He then said he did not have a change, and I said I didn't either but I did have 4 dollars.  I just grabbed animal crossing cib and wii fit, which was missing, so then I walked back and got wii sports instead.

The PS2 memory card was free so then I felt obligated to buy one of the games, xbox games were $3 each, and I'm glad I did it was a $14 game.

This lady had a mario edition dsi $35, black dsi $25, blue? dsi $25, maybe 10 crappy ds games.  I asked how much the ds games were and picked these out, roughly 1/2 off retail.  I just wanted to look at the $40 vita.  This guy awkwardly came into the garage and mentioned he'd already been there.  I knew right away he was a reseller.

This is where the story gets great.  I kinda figured he was looking this shit up on his phone and came back.  He said he was doing a second sweep.  I saw him eyeing the vita I was looking at and I started to smile.  I pretended to be interested and was going all over the box.  The lady told me it was missin the power cord.  The dsi's would not turn on , this would not turn on.  I'm not messing with it.  Finally I set it back down and he goes over to it and asks about.

THEN... very awkwardly, and she did not hear him the first time, said something along the lines of this "Well I called gamestop and they said they would give me $_ _ for it but it has to be model # _ _.  So then she helped him find the model number and I picked up the two ds games for $3 each.

The dreamcast/ps1 lot came from the thrift store.  They were put into two seperate bags and one of them even had a faith hill cd and some other useless crap.  All Sports.  The top row of games is either missing game, case, or broken.  Allot of the games looked pretty scuff, maybe poorly buffed.  Allot of the cases are broken.  Those and the wii game the total was $10.  -->

$20 -->

$8.50 -->

...And then, this in the mail for $300
