That's the Japanese-exclusive Tengen port -- far better than the EA version (which is playable but disappointing), and damn near arcade-perfect.
That and the NES release are really the only two MM console ports I've played that are any good. The Game Boy/Color/Advance releases are mind-blowingly poor -- it seemed nigh-impossible to beat the GBC version, which was straight-up broken. And the SMS/Game Gear releases just don't play right at all; the ball feels like it has no mass, IIRC.
