So after much thought, I've decided maybe there should be a Campout every year.


The main issue with cost is the Party Tent rental, the last one which was 20 feet by 30 feet was 415 for the extended weekend. This year's tent is about 710, I've already received 1/2 of the money needed for it, which is being put down as a deposit/ first half of the payment.
 
I think a bigger tent would be needed this time around, so I was thinking 30 feet by 30 feet or even bigger 30 feet by 40 feet, giving us twice the space of the 20 by 30..

Thoughts, opinions, comments, questions, concerns, ideas, all welcome..

It is hard to believe anything on April 1st. Early Summer would probably be best.

If this ends up not being a joke, I'd love to attend and would be willing (again) to help with costs.

I'm down whenever man. I know school schedules and stuff make later in the year kinda difficult, but it might be nice if it wasn't BLAZING hot this time. Not like that would stop anyone, just might be more comfortable.

I'd kick in whatever cost I needed to as well, no problem.

I'd also volunteer to come down early again and help you set up.

But naw, seriously, I'd be up for going this year. I wanted to last year, but there were some heavy work issues going on that kept me from committing to it. This year, f'em. I'm coming whether they like it or not, lol. Any time before September would be sweet in my book.

I'd only be down for it, if it were within 4 hours of my house, in Florida. I'm too poor for anything else. Maybe somewhere in between me and Penguins house?

you could always try to hitch a ride with Penguin..  Just sleep with one eye open.

I would make that drive for sure, and I would load up the ol' A-Team van with anyone I could pick up between my house and Tennessee!

I think we'd like to camp (instead of hotel) next time as well.
