I tried selling this last week with no results, probably due to my feedback. After working with a previous buyer to sort out some issues, my feedback score is normal again so I might as well try selling this spare copy. The totaled up price is pretty close to that of my local game store, so I would only be willing to lower my price by $1 if needed.

good luck with the sale... gotta get that feedback percentage back up, for sure. Be careful describing condition, assuming the buyer was honest with his feedback. Your link didn't work for me, this one does:

Thanks for pointing out the link, Ill fix it. The feedback fell a bit because I listed a boxed Tecmo Super Bowl II poorly. I am however a very good salesman and strive for excellence and I can assure you all that this is a fine working copy

That must be Goomba droppings... so it must increase the value? haha

You'll probably only get about $7 for the game in that condition. Theres a couple Super Mario World games with the guide for less than $15 :/

Some of these older games get stained like that. I have a Mario Kart that has similar marks that just won't come off.

If you want some honest advice, I really think you need to lower the price if you ever want to sell it. Your copy is $19 including shipping, and there are dozens (literally dozens) of other listings of the game (most in better condition), that sell for under $15 shipped.

I don't know why anyone would purchase this one when they can get a better product for less money from someone with better feedback.

I'm honestly just trying to help you here. If you want to increase your feedback rating and sell this, you almost have to lower the price.

Just my opinion.

Good luck!

I thought a lot today about lowering the price, and decided it would be best if I did. It is now $10

So $10 + $4 shipping = $14... well good luck with that. There about 20+ Super Mario World games in better condition going for $8-12 BIN with free shipping....

Also you should check this out to get an idea what the game been going for the past few months....

$10 is a good offer, but when you take into account that theres sooooo many copies of that game on eBay and people who are selling it for $10 + free shipping... generally those people will buy the free shipping one instead of paying an extra $4.

If it goes too low, you're better putting it with an SNES lot; Mario games almost always make bundles go stupidly high.

What the heck, I'll give my input. I always go $8 shipped on SMW carts. But I personally value them much less than that and wouldn't go more than maybe 3 in the wild. Truth is, they're very very common, but also very high in demand. $10-$12 shipped seems reasonable, but $14 is a bit high unless it's mint or you're lucky

Either way good luck :]

Guys, he can charge what he wants. It's great to offer opinions on pricing, but really: "Uh, would the poop on it not wipe off?"... c'mon.

Thank you, I agree.

Nevertheless, I have changed the price to $8. So with shipping, I get $12, about the price they charge at the local game store. I refuse to go any lower

no one blames you, but now your price is about what it should be so no need. Anyone who still needs mario world on here that would want it is few and far between.

Give the game a quick exterior cleaning and take new photos. It will help.

Rubbbing alcohol and cotton balls or even just windex and a paper towel should get it clean.
