Thats how they always get me they are in to close or i am off the the side slightly and catch a piece of shrapnel. I am going to give it a good try tonight, i almost broke 300,000 then i would realistically like to be able to score over 500K but just not sure if i will get that high by sunday

I have mentioned this in other threads but this game holds a special place in my heart. on christmas morning in sixth grade i woke up and opened up a brand new deluxe set and got copies of pinball, soccer and donkey kong 3. it had to be 5 am and i dragged the box into my room and wired everything up to the TV and the first game i ever turned on (pause)in my first nintendo was donkey kong 3. this contest made me revisit this sentimental favorite and actually improve my skills. i never scored high on this game but after playing all week i not only broke 500K but i passed 600 as well. i probably could have gotten much higher but after passing those scores i kind of lost a little focus and wasted my last 2 lives. Thanks to Dragoon and RDRunner for the strategy tips and i wanted to share how much fun playing this game all week has been

Yeah, this is definitely one of my favorite shooters, and probably the most unique I can think of. Plus I tend to like games that loop forever, makes the reply value almost infinite.
