Can R.C. Pro-AM be on the agenda again this year so I can feel like a real man?

I'm only good enough to make it into scrub league playoffs.
Hoping to have the time to shoot for Semi-Pro level this year (Silver).

The Pro Playoffs are for Nintendo living gods.

Yes, there will be.  The target time is early February.

pro am was fun ,  i always wanted to see black box pinball in the contest

There was a black box Pinball contest back in 2012, so it should be due to come up again.

Totally missed that one , just thought it would be a fun contest

I agree with you. It hasn't been played in four years and it already has a set of rules in place, so it should be possible to add it to this year's schedule if there's still room for a game in the arcade genre.
 

sorry man. That was not my intention at all. Sometimes I speak before I think. And I tend to be a grump. I don't really think the SNES sucks. I have both models and probably around 30 carts. 

i have actually been messing with super castlevania IV and I hope I'm not banned from your contest because I really been putting quite a bit of time into un squad.

Isn't the post season still the same?

Top scorers get into the Tier 1 playoffs (God Tier)

Next group of season hig scorers go into the Tier 2 playoffs (Pro Tier)

Last group of high scorers for the season go into Tier 3 playoffs (Scrub League)

I call Tier 3 "Scrub League" in the most endearingly way possible. Just scoring enough during the season puts you into some pretty serious company as far as gamers on this site go.
I've qualified for Tier 3 twice in my time here, but would love to sneak into Tier 2 at least.
The season can be long (and sometimes brutal - losing out in a top 10 spot for the week by just a few points).

skinny, you were a trooper when I when up against you. Did bimmy and gui change up the post season format?

 

OH my fault Santa. Your right on with the tier system. I thought you meant you were competing in a different league or something specifically for Rc pro am  



 

I think they're the summer contests. I wouldn't mind some RC Pro Am myself... Maybe RC Pro Am 2 would be great too!

You've already got one shooter icon, so there's no reason that you shouldn't be contender again this year.

im pretty sure you crushed me in Rc pro am. 

I was able sneak in the top tier summer tourney (if only through consistently posting a score each week) and snag 3rd place but bertsampson and Red handed it to the rest of us. 
 

A lot of it is just luck of the draw. I'm sure that you'll do fine as long as you stick with it.
