I could literally beat the shit out of the guys who programmed the knife wielding douches in the town. They are so freaking inconsistent. Just wasted a great run because they didn't behave the same as my previous ten attempts.

Got the leaderboard updated tonight. Sorry for the delay, everyone. I had a couple things going on that kept me from NA stuff the last few days. As you may or may not know, my grandfather (my dad's dad) passed away a couple weeks ago at 90 years of age. I just found out the other day my other grandfather (my mom's dad) is in the hospital and not doing very well. He has had some body pain and has felt sick and the doctors can't quite figure out what is wrong with him. He had a couple bad days in a row and it looked like he might pass, but today, he was doing a bit better. My family is taking this one day at a time and really hoping he can pull through, but he may still pass. Just wanted to let you all know if anything happens, I will most likely not be on the site for a few days because I will be in Nashville. If I have to go down there, I will leave guillavoie in charge.

My NES collection count: 757 games (16 to go for a full set)

Perhaps next week bimmy will consider the PAL version of Wicked Clown Bros. 2

Are you still playing Wicked Clown Bros. 2?  Wicked Clown Bros. 3: Revenge of the Juggalos is where it's at!

My friend, you are forgetting that Juggalos do not seek revenge. They just sue the FBI!

^^^ Given the era of the game, I would have gone with the guy that played Sloth (and the brute in Ice Pirates).

Lol,yeah. Knowing that there's often an underlying wrestling theme with these threads,I figured I'd post that. I think when this game came out,Goldberg was playing in the NFL with the Falcons.

When it was released in Japan he was still playing for UGA.

True, but this is the swamp so there personality is fitting . Maybe if they combined into one they could equate the same muscle mass.

UPDATE: 23,460

Small update before work. I was actually starting to finally get into this game, but my time is now limited. I'm hoping to get a few more runs in somehow before the end.

Made it to the second driving stage. I really think they should've broken the driving stages up instead of having them go back to back.

Here's my score: 286650.

This is the first time I've played this game since I did a no-death run of it last year, and also the first time I've ever tried beating the later loops.  I finally got the game over at loop 3, stage 4 (damn rocks).  I'm in the process of uploading the video and I will post a link to it when it's done.  It definately starts to get tedious after playing this golden turd for 1.5 hours lol.

Now that I've learned how to play it, this is a much better game than I used to give it credit for.
A poor man's Double Dragon - Operation Wolf - Roadblasters...

Before this week, I don't think I'd ever gotten past the first stage.  Definitely a steep learning curve on this one.

85,630

After much effort, I was finally able to beat both driving stages, but was still losing way too many lives on the second one... Stage 6 is ridiculously long!  It is definitely the widowmaker.

If you can one-life the shooting stage, it was pretty awesome to start Stage 3 with armor and a stick.
Having played a little further with continues, I don't see how I can one-life Stage 7, though... I keep running out of ammo on that one.

Playing it safe on those stages is worth it (though the timing on the second stage is pretty tight...)

Any pros want to weigh in on how the "bonus" works on the driving stages?

I THINK it looks like it is an extra 1000 pts per aircraft killed, but I can't tell.

It is definitely not related to time, though, since on the second stage I finished with exactly zero time and was awarded 3k. (and I've received 1k or 3k on the first stage with as much as 30 seconds left on the clock)

I try to take my time, but I can't too much due to the timer. What I've been trying to do is anticipate each curve by moving my jeep to the right of the road when it curves right and vice versa. I have yet to make it through the second driving stage or even get very far in it as I'm usually down to my last life or two.

What seems to kill me a lot of the time is when a plane comes at or near the same time as a car and I throw a grenade at the plane and since you can't shoot while a grenade is active it usually ends up in a collision death. I've got the first 3 stages down as I can usually no death it up to the first driving stage.
