The first run of Huge Insect was absolutely not 1993. Also I don't think the colors of the boxes mean anything for when it was ordered: I got mine out of the very first shipment, and it was orange.

I picked up Hillsfar for the NES CIB for $20. That game's pretty pricy on eBay, though it's one of the worst on the NES.

The release was definitely not 1993, as far as I know, the game was never formally released up until the early 2000s.

The box color theory is a lie too, imo, something too many people put stock into.

I updated the thread, if there are any sources for what people believe is wrong information, that would be very helpful. Thanks for the input!

I tentatively disagree about the box color (the order in the OP is correct IMO)... we need NGD to chime in on this one, as he was certain there was an order to this and at the time, he was the only person that had all 4 colors that I knew of.

I updated the OP with the information Dain stated. Hopefully NGD will be able to clear this up.

Just saw this one bump up... Good read!

Just curious to the OP, what about Bonk's Adventure? Seems like it's harder to track down that DD2 or CD2? Some back story on that one would be cool. Sick game!
