A few tips, check your wind direction, it will curve your swing. Also, if you don't land on the white bars during your swing, your ball will curve badly. Those got me the first time around. The pattern on the grass during the putt phase will determine which direction the ball will go. So if you're putting in the same direction as the arrows, use a soft putt, if putting against the arrows, then a stronger putt. You'll get the hang of it.
Sadly I already have all of that down. What is absolutely killing me is the high risk shots that go in the water or OoB, and the pitching and sand pits. I have no idea how you are supposed to accurately do the sand. If you don't do high power you'll probably muff it, yet god knows where it goes if you do. Just like real golf I guess *sigh*
