I'll be getting on around 8pm PST. If anyone wants to play tonight or in the future, add my gamertag and hit me up. Gamertag: Stealth1984

This game is intense as shit!! Let me know what you think of it.

So far I'm loving it. Ultimatley I wish I had a rig that was good enough to run it as all FPS's play best on a PC setup, but it plays just fine on my HDTV via Xbox. The frame rate is good, internet connectively is quick and responsive. The in game setting and mood are crafted very well to suit the gameplay. Just goes to show you don't need to use the Unreal3 engine to create a first rate FPS. Valve definitely has another winner with L4D.

Lastly, the game plays perfectly in a dimly lit room accompanied by a few bong rips. Sometimes the surround sound is a bit much for me because I feel like the witch is crying from my kitchen.

Heh, that would be crazy to hear the witch in surround sound! Whenever I would hear the Tank coming through the 5.1 setup, it would get my heart rate going pretty good. I just remember some of the campaigns were so damn intense, especially right at the end. I remember trying out Expert a few times, but couldn't ever fully complete any of them, but I think I beat three of them on advanced.

Great game that I'm sure I'll be playing again soon. It's one of those games that I could leave and come back to many, many times.

I totally agree. Some people complained about the game being too short in length, but personally I don't see that aspect being a downfall by any means. The content which the game delivers is quality and action packed. For me, there is nothing worse than when a game becomesso  long and drawn out to the point where it feels like I'm just trying to grind through rest to reach the end. In short, the L4D story is intriguing and concise for what it is, and most importantly delivers a fun gaming experience.

On a side note, I enjoy that the gameplay is broken up into campaigns, and then is even further disected into chapters. It is a feature that allows the 'hardcore' gamer the ability to go back and play specific segments that they would like to practice or rehearse on different difficulty settings, while at the same time allows for casual players to resume where they left off at their leisure

Though I am only half way through the game, thus far I am having a blast. I can't wait to begin the third campaign!
