Copy #1 (only one that comes in a custom designed SMALL box, all the rest are big box) is up for auction on the swedish site nesdb.se/forum. Current bid for that one is 6300 SEK (roughly 1050 USD) and it ends this sunday! Anyone here is of course welcome to register there and place a bid on that one too).

This auction here at NA is for copy #33 and after this has been sold, no more will be available. Alot of the swedish collectors that missed out on the pre-order, and those that will be outbid in the auction at nesdb.se, are probably going to bid on this. So there's of course a chance that the game might stay in Sweden, but then at least we gave the rest of the collecting community a chance to bid. IMO it would be really fun if someone outside of Sweden won it.

How the hell did it get to $1050 for a homebrew/repro? I really don't mean to threadcrap or anything, just asking. That's the highest I've ever heard of for a homebrew game.

Our Heaven, and our Hell.
This, is Outer Heaven.

This is ridiculous. It's just a damn translation, not even an homebrew. I'm sure there's some shill bidding.

Sorry to hear that you believe that. We expected that alot of swedish collectors would register here just to bid on this, but as I said before we still wanted to give international collectors a chance to bid too. Yes, it is just a translation, but there is still some effort put into it. For swedes it is of course more interesting since it is the first swedish "repro".

Also, after the pre-order we had plenty of people offering good money for a copy since they missed out on the pre-order (all copies were accounted for within 6 hours). If you like you are more than welcome to watch the auction for #1 ending tonight at 9 pm swedish time, that's 3pm NA-time (http://www.nesdb.se/forum/viewtop... ). You have to register first though. I'm not stating whether the game is worth it or not, I'm just saying that there is indeed a big enough interest from collectors willing to spend the money and that the bids are legit. The higher bids placed so far in this thread are from well known collectors within the swedish NES-collecting scene.

It's not just a damn translation. It's a limited edition CIB with great artwork. Prices are always debatable, of course. Is Stadium Events, as a game, really worth all those thousands of dollars, for instance? The market sets the value, right? That's just what's happening here.

Best of luck with the auction you guys.

I really do not care about The little Nemo .
And yeah, Stadium Events and other stuff like that is ridiculous too. I didn't say only this homebrew.
Oh and I own some nice things, try to find a CIB Shisen Majiang 2 or Mortal Kombat 2 Special and then we'll see who has the nice things. You talk without knowing.

everyone knock it off. no one cares who's dick is bigger. this is an auction thread. if you dont have a question, a bid, or something else productive to say, stay out.

thanks for the pic of cart #1, shrimp. i still like this one better. this is the nicest artwork since battle kid 2, but this one comes in a real box, as opposed to the plastic boxes used with bk2. cant believe the price! it also helps that the US dollar is absolutely worthless these days.

i cant wait till more big guns get in on this auction.
