Because only a true Dragonlord would have 1000 copies of this game.

K3VBOT got Space Jockey who got me thinking and it clicked that I definitely need a mega cart collection of Dragon Warriors.  It was also my first RPG and it took a high schooler to help me before I finally beat it as a kid.  

My life just wouldnt be complete without 1000 of them. So I bought Space Jockey's collection.

I will doubley also be keeping a tally of who sent me all the carts on this first post so I can send personal thanks at the end of this endeavor. However, I will be making a small addition, that I still can't believe he didn't do this in the first place, I will NOT be erasing the save files, and will be writing down the save state names that go with the corresponding games I recieve from here on out. ADDITION*(12/16) I also started adding stickers with the number on the cart so they're easier to go through. This arose from me wanting to double check some carts I had trouble with.

Alright, down to the nitty gritty. This game is worth all of $1 to me, personally. Especially now that I have 412 copies of it. If you're interested in helping out, that's how much I'll pay per copy, but I will cover shipping. I mean honestly, if you grew up with this thing, then you remember that they gave this game away for Free with Nintendo Power. This thing is out there, not rare at all. Alright, I might go as high as $2. But I'd want multiple copies at once to keep shipping cheap.

I will also, from here on out, only be taking copies of Dragon Warrior as forms of payment for trades. I will be updating my FS thread, Erdrick style. You want my old NES Sticker Book double, that's going to cost you 5 copies of Dragon Warrior. My super minty Stack-Up, yeah, that's going to run you about 115 copies of Dragon Warrior. Etc.

There it is. Let the mega collection arms race begin again.

Yes, to answer the question that many of you wondered, it eventually ended up in my hands. I will do my best to keep it growing.

Would be hilarious to see a nonchalant "here's my collection" video on youtube where you casually show a shelved wall of dragon warriors. Talk about the obligatory; why you started collecting, where to buy, get good deals, etc., but never mention or acknowledge that there is only one title present, and never utter the words "dragon warrior".

Here's what so awesome about all this. No one, and I mean no one, has ever done this before. Sure, people have their NWC and their Stadium Events and other expensive/rare shit, but NO ONE has ever accomplished the 1000 game challenge. There aren't very many collecting goals that haven't been achieved, but this is one of them. Pretty much everyone who's tried it has stopped around the ~500 mark, and most much sooner than that..
