What does it mean if I'm getting nostalgic about past members on a board devoted to something I feel nostalgic about?

Whambamm was an active member of the Nes cart fantasy league. He disappeared in May in the middle of a transaction with another member. He won Duck Tales 2 and Power Blade 2 in the league and was inactive/non responsive when the package was sent.

It was like he got run over by a truck or something.

I don't remember his ID,but what happened to the guy who had the avatar " will rap for moobs" and had Hootie McBoobins for his name. That avatar had me rolling when I first saw it.

This is totally unrelated to anyone here but I won an ebay auction a few years ago and never heard anything from the seller. I looked at his feedback another user left feedback to the same effect (I think it might have actually been jonebone, before buyer idents were hidden). I did some googling and I think the guy got busted for pot while the auction was running. I found an arrest report with his name in some random newspaper article or something from his general area.

That's Seth (srh201?).   He still pops in every once in a while.

Whatever happened to Arkturus? He had numerous examples of the best graded NES games in existence, including titles like sealed Stack Up's, etc. Then he disappeared.

What happened to that girl (forgot her user name) who had been in a car accident and posted pics of the scar on her arm after her surgery? She was pretty active for a maybe a few months and seemed really excited to be back on the boards and all of a sudden she just stopped posting.

Dan used to post on NES Forums fairly regularly before it went down for good. It might have been out of a sense of duty given that he was the only admin left. I know he was more focused on Magic: The Gathering by that point. He always talked about his game collecting in the past tense, so I'd assume he was done adding to his collection. It looks like he was here in October, so I guess he still visits once in a while. My guess is he's doing something with his card shop now.
