I was at Fun World in Nashua NH today for the first time in a couple of years and while playing some NBA on NBC Showtime I noticed that the Blitz 99 machine next to me has a N64 memory card reader, something I never realized any arcade machines took advantage of for N64 games. Next time I go I want to bring my card and try to use this (probably the first person in ages lol) I see online that it is used to transfer custom plays to the arcade, but I was wondering if it did anything with your records too, or no?

Whoa! That's really cool! I didn't even know there were card readers like that!

Warning: if you're collecting a complete licensed N64 game collection, you now need to own the arcade machine of Blitz for it to be complete.

Now you've said it, by the time you go back someone will have likely bought it.

I doubt it, actually I find another place just a few miles away from this location in Pelham, NH called Pinball Wizard, an even bigger arcade with more diverse games, and it looks like they have a Blitz 99 machine too (though it may not have the N64 reader) I'm gonna have to give this place a visit, it looks like they actually give Funspot a real run for their money.

A strange coincidence, but a blitz reader was posted on eBay last night.

Look at this on eBay http://www.ebay.com/itm/142113803...

Wasnt there an F-zero reader on the arcade game for the GC game memory card as well?

My local arcade had one of these back in the late 90s... I used to bring my memory card in all of the time. You could bring your own custom made plays in and run them on the arcade cabinet. It was awesome! Although, let's be honest, it was just Blitz. There wasn't a whole lot of strategy other then, your receivers run out and you bomb a hail Mary. But, it was still cool, nonetheless, and I thought I was king shit, coming in with my memory card. LOL!

My blitz 99 has the memory card reader, and it opens and closes just fine, but won't pass the test in the menu.  Any reason whY?
