Hype the Time Quest, like Sarge's Heroes, is and forever shall be, a childhood favorite of mine. I've played it countless times, broke copies, and bought it again

. I decided, out of sheer boredom, a year ago, to google it. I suprised myself, and found it was released on PS2, Gameboy Color, PC, and... N64? Perfect! I just finished my n64 portable. I saw the E3 demo, skeptical of graphics, and deemed it worthy to enter my collection. I ebayed it, got no results and figured, "well it wasnt a huge commercial success, i suppose no one is selling right now." i abandoned it until about 3 weeks ago. Once again, bored (boredom is awesome because you do boring things to cure it. Oh shit ive gone crosseyed!) i googled hype the time quest n64. I stumbled on to some forum, and to my HORROR, realized it was never released on the n64. Great. Now ill have to fork over $1000 to get a prototype. Then i saw there werent any demos carts known... F***. later on, in the sellers forum there was some member selling various prototypes. One was a very large n64 cart with the old rainbow ubisoft logo on it. I shoulda pmed the guy cuz now i cant find that post! It could have been hype! So now I need all of your help. If anyone has, knows about, or has any info on hype n64, post it here!  I havemade it my mission to find this!

Check with either of the nolan bros or dreamtr. They are big prototype collectors and may either have one they could sell or point you in the right direction.

Also, check to see if there is a rom out there. You could always get a 64 drive or a everdrive 64 and play it on your console.

Hope that helps!

If anyone is LOOKING for certain repro/homebrews, I have a running repro company thread going as well as a lot of extras myself which include Limited Editions as well.  I'm also free to help answer questions and point people in the right direction so never hesitate to ask!  Here is the current list of repro companies.  Please let me know if I need to update it:

That game looks like it would be fun. If DTR and the Nolan brothers don't have it, you should make a post on a site 64dd.net asking about the game. Maybe someone on the site might have the game or some good info on it.

I can't believe this but I distinctly remember the 5th photo down on the link - it was in an n64 magazine. I'll have to go through my mags to find out which one - I think it was from a UK magazine, either n64 magazine or 64 magazine (probably the former). I remember it because it looked so cool (the castle in the background, it reminded me of a zelda game). Since then I never thought anything of the game though, and I know this sounds odd, but I always thought the game ended up being Aidyn Chronicles, but that obviously is not the case - compeltely different developers.

It's very similar to Zelda, but I prefer it!! (Ikr) it is quite fun and you might as well get it on ps2 or pc if you can. I can only get it to work on 98 and XP tho, not 7

its a copy of zelda with playmobil characters. It may sound stupid, but it was one of, if not my favorite childhood game. The story is decent, the world is fun to explore, theres a ton of magic and challenges, and just wraps up as a fun game! You can get it on a ROM but most are crappy. If you have XP (it doesnt function on 7) just get a used copy. Theres an identical PS2 version, and a GBC version that doesnt look too good, but ive never played it.
