The list is up to date.
WE ARE AT 199 total...next one wins bragging rights!!!
Thanks again for everybody keeping track of these things while I was away...

The link I posted is dead now, but I saved the pictures of it if you needed them.  The seller was asking $400, it had 4 legs, no controllers and no TV remote.

Did you get a serial number for it? If so...send me a PM and I will the list updated...I promise

Hey all! I've been a collector for a few years now. I joined to add mine to the list! Well, I don't have it yet, but it's supposed to be here from Saginaw, Michigan on Monday. I live in Madison, WI so luckily it doesn't have to travel across the whole country. Got it off ebay for $305, just under $400 with shipping. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Nintendo-...

It looks like it's been in a dirty garage for years. It's pretty dirty and needs to be cleaned up, but the TV is said to work. She said she tried getting it to play a game but couldn't. I'm guessing it just needs a good connector pin boil, but I'm super paranoid to open it up and not get zapped.

For the price I thought I'd take a gamble, since it had all 4 feet. I'm just praying UPS ground doesn't completely destroy it. I've seen the other horror stories. When it comes I'll post an update with pics. I'm a bit nervous on how they packed it. I immediately sent her an email after winning, asked her to pack it so it supports the weight of the base, and so the legs aren't supporting it all, and/or to take it to UPS for them to pack it properly, but her response was basically, "I'll try, if my husband didn't already pack it." then I got a shipping notice shortly after, so I doubt she did.

Cross your fingers for me!

Model 19SV111
Serial 528148
Year 1990

doors - none
feet - all 4 intact

OK it came! Much to my shock, UPS ground got it to me with absolutley no damage! I'm giddy with excitement haha... They did a really good job packing it.  I was so ready to open it up and see a complelety trashed unit.

On top of that, I was able to get games working on it even though the poster said she couldn't get any to work.  The connection is pretty loose and could probably use a replacement 72pin connector, but I can get it working after a few tries.  My assumption is she used a filthy game to test it on.  I clean all my games so blowing on them isn't required.  Best $305 spent on my collection! (I'm not counting the $90 shipping cost to get it here)

So my question is... How do people clean the plastic on these systems?  What cleaning product works best? I need to find a safe product on the plastic. I started to use 70% rubbing alcohol, and looked at the towel and it was black.  I don't think it was just dirt. It looked like it might have taken a bit off the plastic, but luckily I don't think it is noticable.  The TV has a lot of mystery goo dried on it, and some specs of paint.  Along with lots of dirt and dust.  It must have been stored in a garage.  I took some dead grass off the feet.  I think I'll start with water to get the initial layer of dirt off it.

I sent Benihana a pm a while back, but figured I'd post here too. I traded mine to another collector through Facebook a few months ago due to moving and space issues...so you can edit my entry.
