I won a auction for a pretty sweet Starcraft 64 CIB today thinking I was getting paid today. Turns out I don't get paid until next Tuesday. Seeing as I already have some unpaid items strikes from some douche who wouldn't do local pick up when I live 5 miles away, I cant afford another.

You can PM me for the listing. You can paypal me the money or you can work out a deal with the seller. Makes no difference to me.

Ive done with person with Marios Right Nut for a far more expensive item a month or so ago so he can probably vouch for me on this one.

You shouldn't bid on items you can't pay for. If it happens once, yeah that's a mistake and people can help out if the deal is good enough. If you already have "unpaid item strikes" with an "s", then obviously this is a recurring problem.

As an eBay seller, non-paying bidders are the most annoying thing in the world. There's a reason that your account gets suspended or whatnot after 3 strikes and quite frankly you deserve it.

I don't think you took the time to read my post. I won this auction today before work, no check until next week, and seller wants payment in 2-3 days.

As for my unpaid strikes, if you would of read my post you would have a more basic idea. I won 30 auctions for games that ended at $1 dollar. The seller didn't want to do local pick up when I told him ill give him $2 each. He kept insisting that I pay 5 dollars each. No way I was doing that.

Don't try to paint me when you don't have the right colors please.

You should always ask a seller about local pick prior to winning.  I don't blame him, it's easier for me to swing by the post office on my lunch break than it is to try and coordinate with someone's schedule about what's convenient for them.  The seller sets the terms of the auction, not the buyer.

I'm not painting you as anything.  You won an item and you don't have the funds to buy it within the timeframe the seller desires.  So you deserve an unpaid item strike.  What's there to argue about?

You go off on someone for listing an item as Mint when it's more like Very Good, and then you bid on items that you can't even pay for.  Don't lecture others about eBay etiquette unless you can take criticism yourself.

I got a response from seller agreeing to wait until I can pay.

I guess I felt you were saying I was bidding on something I knew I couldn't pay from the get-go. Which I did not appreciate if it was.

There is a nice difference between winning a auction and not being able to pay on time than somebody listing a game as mint when they already know it isn't. For example, I didn't know my check was going to be delayed but the seller of the "mint" box already knew it wasn't mint. Unplanned vs. Planned.

I pointed that out already. Thanks.

Then don't get a credit card.

If you have a credit card tied to your paypal account, then you can still pay right away.  So not really sure where you're trying to go with this beside being a smartass.

I'm a bit defensive.

Like I said, I thought I was getting paid today and I wasn't. Then I'm getting told not to bid/buy if I don't have the money on hand.
