If it's still available, I'd appreciate a copy and I don't really care what number I recieve.  I'll have money once I get paid on the 25th of October. (My job pays me every 10th and 25th of each month.)

Bumping because, well, my copy arrived and the game is freakin' AWESOME! Noticed the sticky seems to have expired, so I had to dig for it, but anyone who hasn't grabbed this definitely should!

One question though...is there an end to it, or is it just an endless loop? I haven't managed to loop the stages a second time yet (stuck at 600 ft), but it'd be nice to know if there's an end goal or not. Either way, I'm having a blast playing it!

But then again, it could be said that something is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. I'm curious if the high bidder of the $873.04 Stadium Events (cart-only) realizes that it's nowhere nearly as rare as about 20+ games I can think of that sell for 1/10th that amount?  At any rate, I wanted to draw attention to this trend: if people say it's rare, it must be true, and therefore it must be had at any price."

My copy is #75. I never got past 4 colors myself. The only caveat with this game IMO is that I can't manually select the difficulty, and if I make to four colors and lose, I have to start all over again at two colors. The two color game is so easy I can almost win by clicking the lower right hand corner until all the blocks are used up. You can also score big by removing all the blocks of a certain colors until there's one massive area of solid color left. Click!

SPOILER!!! Also, if you have access to an older monochrome gameboy or a Super Gameboy (non-GBC), there's a delightful little monochrome minigame accessible as an Easter Egg. /SPOILER

Yeah, I've beaten the 4 color screen and it went back to two colors. I've got as far as the second four color screen, but no further. Just want to know if it counts as done for my Backloggery page, or if there's an actual end point to get to. Generally these sort of games loop forever, but I want to hear from someone who's got further than I have...or the creator, if he's still kicking around here

2,3,4,2,3,4... So no 5 color difficulty? I know the NES version uses three colors but there are up to five separate brick types if you include circles and squares. I've sampled it through my HBWC cart #64 Must pick up the NES version next time it restocks on retrousb.com

That's what I can gather.  Keep in mind that the NES version is technically the sequel, so it stands to reason that it would have something changed between games.  I've had my copy for ages, and it's awesome too...definitely worth waiting for it to get restocked, that's for sure

Yeah, the stock issues at retrousb are driving me bonkers. I keep refreshing the site hoping for updates. Brian actually had an ETA on Super Snake of "one to two weeks" prior to his hiatus in May-June. I played the demo on my Powerpak and it was awesome but it suffered from the phantom input bug. There was supposed to be a fix for this. Anyway I've been waiting for years.

They also have a 2600 version of Chunkout as well:
http://atariage.com/store/index.p...
I picked it up a while back. The game believe it or not uses more colors than the NES one but the playfield is very small. A couple months back I saw NES Chunkout in stock on retroUSB but Study Hall was supposedly right around the corner so I waited for Study Hall to arrive in stock so I could double up on my order to save shipping, then Chunkout disappeared again.

Pet peeve of mine, but I hate ordering items one-at-a-time and getting shafted on shipping when I could double up my orders and save. I would typically wait until a "must-have" came along, and then order it alongside several of my "wants." With rolling supply shortages, that strategy doesn't work too well anymore...

Nice to see sales picking up again. Congrats on finally coming close to selling out now that there's new buyers who didn't get the memo the first time around.

Well, at least Battle Kid 1 and DK Pie Foundry are still in stock atm. I'm just not interested in the Battle Kids due to the fact the difficulty is insane on those.

Sorry for the late reply, but I just wanted to add to this that there is actually an end to the game, after level 10 I believe (1000ft)

Ooooh!  Good to know!  So I'm only around half way through...this may take a while...

Needs save states if you're going to beat it that deep, sadly. Wait, I've got an old GameBoy Color GameShark with save state ability.

Yeah, I'm gonna wanna do it legit though.  It's a fun enough game though, and quick, so it'll probably be more luck + persistence than anything
