It is definitely the real deal. I don't follow PAL prototype prices as closely as I do NTSC so I can't be much help there. Just keep in mind when you are doing research that PAL prototypes generally go for less that NTSC. Also Rodland didn't make it to the states.
One caveat I've observed of this is if you can find a copy that is very-obviously modified so that it could be produced for the US, then it could be worth a little more. People like unrelease protos and even if this game was released in Europe, having the only US version would be desirable.
But, I'm primarily a GB proto collector so I have not clue what this is worth for the NES. Was this a good game? Is it/was it well loved in Europe?
