Could you please restrain yourself to make such comment in contest threads. It is not like we haven't been able to judge this specific question over the pan of several years running this contest. Emulators = cheating is a flawed generalization.

We tolerate emulators, cause we want players to have an alternative if they don't own 'x' games. This said, it is still greatly encouraged to play on real hardware.

I use the photobucket app. It works for me....usually. Of course it may be because I live in an area where I get poor signal.

Edit* can't download cause I havnt updated my phone it ios7 and I don't wanna! Excited about doing the contest this week though! It's my first time participating! Had just scored a boxed copy of this int hometown for cheap so it was nice to see it come up as the weekly game! Shmups are my genre to, though I must admit Gradius isn't really my game! I own 1, 3 & 5 and sorta suck at all of em! I'm more a vertical shmup guy! Now if we were talking Space Megaforce or Musha, ya'll would be toast!

After examining the pic a little more, there seems to be something fishy with the HI score.  Some further investigation is needed, but it appears the score was faked somehow.

Upon further investigation, there appears to be a "5" out of place. I guess the score was actually 26,050,00 rather than the original 26,000,000 we thought, but appears legit though.

No worries guys, I asked Adam for video verification on how he achieves this score, and it is legit.

What he did is starting a new game, press on start, cut some paper with the numbers '2' and '0', carefully scotch taped them on his TV to fit with his score, and only then he took his picture. Everything was made using original NES hardware, so the score counts.
