I'm not a big cereal eater anymore. Kinda cool they added amiibo functionality to the box.

I remember back in 1996 I used to spend my allowance on Rice Krispies Treats Cereal every single week
because the box was Mario 64 themed and there was a contest to win a Nintendo 64. I remember the box had
the Big Boos on it. I've never seen a picture of it online, always wondered what those boxes of cereal would fetch sealed these days...

I grew up on sugar cereal but I'll be honest, when the Rice Krispy Treat cereal came out, that was the day that even I felt cereal went to far.  (Still didn't stop me from eating it though. Such a hypocrite...)

I loved it when cereal promoted any kind of video game thing (Sonic with the honey nut cheerios for example)

Off topic a bit, but Golden Grahams and French Toast Crunch are my faves to this day. Bar-none, best cereal IMO.

I might have to look into shipping rules for shipping cereal internationally if any. Never done that before. lol

This might be one of those deals where someone would probably want to flip it on Ebay for an astronomical scalping fee, which I'd hate to see (postage is bad enough), but we all know how the market works for things like these. :\

I doubt you could flip shit like cereals just because Mario is on it there are a lot of generic products with characters slapped on. Even physical figures are worth almost nothing and this doesn't even have that.

Will it make sense to do it? Nope. Will people do it? Yes. Just a page ago, someone mentioned of getting a Pokemon cereal slabbed. People do crazy things no matter what the product is, but the fact that it is a Nintendo product, there are people who are gonna try and flip it. May not be successful, especially if the cereal is in high quantity, but they'll sure try.

Disappointed in the number of posts it took to mock VGA after them grading that Pokemon cereal a while back. I'm sure someone will this time around.

I'm definitely getting a box to try if I see it.

WTB Cdn sealed black boxes, sealed Cdn first party titles.    I.e. the "mattel" Cdn boxes with both french and english.   Mainly black boxes, zelda, link, and tyson, but let me know what you have.    I am interested in anything I don't already have!

So thse codes inside will just be for things like extra lives and other "helping out"-type of shit? Or is there anything worth giving a fuck about like new gameplay elements?

Yes they're experts in everything from cereal boxes to hair strands of Elvis Presley and Megalodon's tooth. Whether a meteoric piece of rock is authentic? Scientist know nothing about that shit - VGA does, and they were the pioneers in genetical research establishing those bones from pre-human species to be authentic along with their place on the evoltionary tree aswell. And most importantly they know the proper grades to put on all of it.

That's cool. I would've preferred a regular Super Mario themed cereal and not Odyssey. Neat though.

This makes me happy, so funny.  But with collectables, the company will always do something like this.
