It will be fun to see the Pack and Vikes square off again this year. I predict a split.

I hate many teams with a Passion, so I understand your viewpoint completely.

I only really hate Favre, not the Vikings haha. But it's a package deal. And I really hate the Patriots. And word, Rodgers is the shit. I'm so stoked on having him now.

Did you know a lineman can take a handoff and throw a forward pass under college and high school rules?

Randy Moss to the Vikings. I'm lovin it. That's exactly what we were missing with Sidney Rice.

And now when Rice comes back, we'll have 2 deep threats who can jump up and get the ball, along with Percy Harvin underneath. Talk about opening up the field for Adrian. I would imagine you're not going to see too many safety's up in the box anymore.

Old aunts used to come up to me at weddings, poking me in the ribs and cackling, telling me, "You're next." They stopped after I started doing the same thing to them at funerals.

Good for you man! Moss will be an excellent player and a compliment to your team for the first season at least After that he will go through a series of issues and questions of whether he is taking plays off and blah blah blah! Anyway I can't wait to see the Viking Patriots Game!

Amen to that my man!

Do you watch all the games at your place?  If you ever wanted to make the trip, you're more than welcome to watch at our place.  Mark and I have a pretty nice set-up for games.

Excuse me. What are they cheating at nowadays I would like some insight on this. Oh and after they got caught they went 16-0 and destroyed the entire league until they choked in the Superbowl

I believe you mean their legacy is tainted, and you'd be wrong in saying that.

You say nowadays, meaning you know what I'm talking about.

Super Bowl 36... I'll never forget, there will always be a hate for the Pats in my blood. It's a shame the team reppin' the countries colors is the one to cheat.

This is just a small bit of images I came across when typing in "Patriots Cheaters" on Google. When typing in any other team in the "NFL Cheaters", and you won't get the mass results. Take it as you want, but Super Bowl 36 was a travesty. If the Pats didn't win SB36, they would have never prospered.

PS, I'm a huge NFL fan... haha... And I'm glad my favorite teams aren't tainted.

PSS, that chick looks even sexier with that t-shirt on. haha

Haha, now Scott... I don't want to turn this into an evil thread. I still love the fact that your an NFL fan. Any person that watches and supports the NFL is more than okay in my book. Plus the talking trash makes it fun, say if your Pats win this Sunday, you can rub it in, haha.

I was just sharing my distaste for a certain team. Call me jealous, cry baby, or whatever you want, but it's just my opinion. (And well, many other NFL fans too)

But... my favorite teams are:
  1. Rams (Bring on the crybaby comments, but it's been proven I have a point to whine)
  2. Steelers (Saw them win SB43 in person, and have been a fan since I was very young, PS I hate Roethlisberger)
When it comes to players I watch certain teams. Kurt Warner is my favorite player of all time. I've met the guy so many times and know him personally. He is truly an outstanding human being. I was all about Arizona Cardinals last year.

I still think the Patriots can win the division without Moss, and maybe go one round into the playoffs.

It would be a stretch to win the AFC though, maybe they figured they didn't have enough weapons to go deep.

The biggest puzzle, is why they only wanted a third rounder.

For Minnesota, if they don't win Monday night, it's going to get ugly, probably why they decided to go all in and get Moss.

The best thing they got going for them, is their two losses are out of the division, and even if they loose to the Jets, it's not a conference game. I think they might split with the Packers in the division, but that's it, I think they pummel the Bears with Allan and Edwards having a sack-fest.

I'm glad Moss is back in Minnesota. That's his true home. #84

For the whole New England winning the AFC East, that's a BOLD statement. Way too soon to be saying stuff like that, especially with the Jets looking very dangerous.

I hate to say this, but I think Pats are going to lose there next game against the Ravens. The Ravens are a much more powerful team from what I've seen. It will be a very entertaining game.

As for today...can't believe the Browns knocked off the Bengals!

Me too. I'm not so worried, they played with some fire in Houston and their schedule is nothing special in the coming months. Honestly, the Packers, the Saints, and the Colts are the only really rough teams left in the schedule. I know they can beat the Redskins, Eagles are fucked, and the Giants haven't looked very good either.

With their defense and running game, I see no real issues otherwise. Romo draws alot of hate but Miles Austin makes a good QB WR tandem, one of the best in the league if you ask me. If Dez Bryant steps up outside of special teams and Roy Williams makes something happen, I think they'll at least pull off one playoff win this year.

LOL, what running game?  You guys won't go anywhere (yet again) because you have some of the worst coaching in football.  You get 5 yards a run and still do 70% passes and 30% running, how the hell does that make any sense?

Romo always chokes come crunch time and your offensive line is atrocious.  It cost you the game against us, though I'd rather hold Orakpo then let him end the career of your young QB.  Arrington already ended the career of Aikman, so it certainly can happen again.

Anyways... the Moss move is great for the Vikings, I think they might go 10-6 or even 11-5 now.

I fail to see why stating that the Pats CAN win the AFC East is such a bold statement. They've done it many a time before. I didn't say they will, just saying they are my pick. Even after losing to the Jets. And losing Randy Moss to the Vikings.

(note the use of boldness)

Most people would say the Jets are the favorites, and I would love for the Jets to win that division, like they did last year.  All the same, the Pats have 3 Super Bowl wins this decade for a reason.

I like to swim against the stream.  Even though I would root for the Jets over the Pats, I'll pick the Pats any day of the week, in any game this season.

I think the Jets are poised for a let-down season after all the hype this year.  Whever teams are overhyped they usually under-deliver. That is why I wont pick them.  I'll still root for them though.

I don't think the Jets are the greatest team either. If they do make it to playoffs, I'd predict they lose in the first round or maybe get lucky enough to get past round one.

I'd say the Pats are predicted to lose 5 out of the next 6 games. The only break they get within the next 6 games is Cleveland, who is actually looking decent this year.

Of course my opinions are biased, but I'd like to think they're true.

3 Super Bowl wins this decade means nothing when it started with cheating. Yes, Brady is an excellent quarterback and the Welker is a beast, but not this year my friends.

Calling that the Pats lose the next 5 out of 6 games. That bold enough for ya? xD

Haha, no way in hell I'm betting on that. I was just being bold. BUT, if someone is willing to take the Pats winning the AFC East I'd be willing to bet a bit of cash.

I hate how this thread is only about Pats. Let's talk about other teams.

How about the Texans, think they're finally playoff worthy?

We get 5 yards a run and you wanna LOL, what running game? me? Kinda makes my point. The offensive line is back after the injuries so all is good on that front. As far as the worst coaching in football, I'd say that the Chargers and the Eagles are about tied.
