I expect my Boys to be a good team and to be straight better than most teams we play. That being said our schedule is brutal so if we go 10-6 il be perfectly happy. But you never know in this league.

The key to the Cowboys season is we have to play our NFC East rivals really well. We have to get at least 3 wins and split with every team and hopefully more than that. Our division is really good this year.

Preseason optimism knows no bounds. With the way the NFL is today you never really know who will be one of the teams to turn from pretenders to contenders and vice versa. My preseason optimism is for La'el (sp) Collins to be a solid right tackle this year replacing Doug Free. If that happens then I don't see why Dallas can't be as good as they were last year. The D-line has a good chance at being better than last year which isn't saying much, but if they can be close to decent then that will help out the young secondary. The new secondary together with Scandrick and Jones will have to play at least as well as last year for Dallas to be in the playoffs again. The NFC East doesn't look too tough, as long as NY has Eli at QB they won't be any better no matter how many weapons they have.

Who the hell is going to play left guard? free randomly retiring ruined the oline depth since the good backups have bolted for cash. Chaz Green better be healthy or I dont even think we have a swing tackle backup

Jonathan Cooper. Reports are he's getting first team reps.

I knew they signed him, but was hoping it was a depth move. We wont really know till training camp.  Ugh line is starting to break with these big pay days being signed and looming. Really wish we could have kept leary. But he got seriously paid.

we have a 10 million cap hit this year from romo. Saved 14 million in cap space for this year with the retirement 8.9 million dead money next year hinders the team, but atleast its over with and we can get a year of cheap qb and sprnd on defense

I know,it's the middle of June and training camps don't open until l July but I am excited that the NFL is not too far away. Also excited to play fantasy football again!

Thoughts,opinions,wishes for the upcoming season?

I'm curious to see how Kyle Shanahan does in San Francisco. Hopefully he can turn the franchise around and get them competitive again.

They added some good players but just like last season the overall the offense is mostly devoid of talent so it should net the similar results.

I think 5-6 wins is the absolute ceiling for this team.
You were the winner of that shiny new Harvest Moon cart in the SNES league weren't you? If so, I'm sure you are ready for fantasy. LOL
Something about a blind squirrel!

Haha. A blind squirrel with mad fantasy football skills.😆 Going for the three-peat in the PPR league and wins in the other two.

If Jonathan Cooper makes it through an entire season, let alone the first four games, I'll piss on my own face.

It would be nice to have another stud there at left guard but we are probably going to have "just a guy" in that spot.  With Smith and Fredrick on either side he's probably not going to have to be very talented to be ok.  Having 3 badasses on OL is a luxury most teams don't have.  Collins has a chance to be good at RT but we'll have to see how that goes.  I don't expect O-line to be a problem.  I'm more concerned with D-line.

Tannehill might be done for the year already.
From Schefter:

Dolphins fear Ryan Tannehill will need season-ending knee surgery, but no decision on it has been made, sources tell @JeffDarlington and me.

I still stand by what I have said about Tannehill, he is a very tough player, has guts and it sucks to see him go down to an injury.

Now perhaps the Dolphins can look towards AftertheHill era. If only.

I watched the first bit of the HOF Game tonight and man does Dallas' Dline look terrible. I know there are some pieces missing but there are pieces missing on both sides. Looks like more of the same with a young secondary that will hopefully stiffen up after a few games.

Ugh. Ben will be gone before another SB, his career wasted by Tomlin. Then the dark times for a decade or so. Hope I'm wrong.

Honestly, he deserves it. Evidence suggests he assaulted his girlfriend repeatedly over the course of about a week. People decrying the NFL over Ray Rice shouldn't have an issue wirh this and should, in fact, support it.

Josh brown gets 1 game and Zeke gets 6? You can't tell me that Mara wasn't involved here. There is a lot of credible evidence suggesting that ms Thompson is a liar. Sounds to me like she was trying to get Zeke in trouble. Like, "ooh my shoulder got touched il call the police." Goodell is a joke. When are the owners gonna wise up and get rid of Goodell?

Oh you mean the evidence of her telling her friends to lie for her through text messages? We have actual evidence of that.

you mean of the couple pictures she posted of a couple bruises that were from the previous week when she was in a bar fight? The one thats been corroborated with law enforcement of what probably happened?

you mean the evidence that the police dropped the case due to conflicting stories by her?

the evidence that everyone with them that day in the car said zeke did nothing?

now take all that.... And we have josh brown last year admitting he hit his wife and violated the restraining order. They buried that evidence till it csme out later after he only got a one game suspension. But oh yeah hes a giant and john mara is involved with input on these decisions.

This happened over a year ago. The nfl isnt going to release" their evidence" they dont have any new evidence. This is all horse shit. Goodell is the worst commisioner in sports. He just pissed off robert kraft and jerry jones in back to back years. His days are numbered.

goodell drug this out and has to look tough and justify a year of finding nothing. If there was something new the police would know and zeke would have been arrested. There is nothing. If i were zeke id sue the nfl for deffation. Theyve ruined his name to casual america , and apparently you who dont look into any details.

It's pretty unfriggenbelievable. Goodell is my least favorite creature on the planet right now. His bias and dictatorship style has gotten old.
