Yes and no. I got it from a friend at a video game event from a long time ago here in Baltimore. I offered to bring a TV for games but didn't really know anyone yet so they put me down as "Mike with the TV" and it just got shortened from there. It just kind of ballooned from there and I imagine the Willy Wonka affiliation helped people remember.
