Many collectors who are importing their stuff from overseas mostly don't know what to expect, when they'll play the foreign game on a console, which isn't meant to play it (in this case NTSC on PAL and vica versa). I thought I would made a series about it, showing off gameplay footage from "region exclusive" games aswell as some random information in the beginning (in English and German). I started this project on last August and made over 10 of those videos so far. I originally intended those for PAL collectors who import NTSC games but I also made some videos of PAL exclusives (or versions) for NTSC collectors (2 of them are on my Youtube page). The footages are recorded with a camcorder, since I don't own a screen recorder and it feels more lively this way (at least for me). I hope this ain't a turn down.

I would like to hear your opinion about this project. If someone wants to know how a certain game will behave on a different console, PM me or answer on this thread. I'll do only NES games, so keep that in mind.

That is great, I like the Contra - Probotector one. I never knew that before. I think I played Probotector on an emulator once and thought it was just some weird hack someone made changing the sprites. I never realized it was a real game released in Germany. The alien rights activists will be happy, but don't robots have rights too? lol

I thought Prototector was a hack too! you can always learn something new...
Hey Palcom, I have tried some PAL roms in a Powerpak, and both Probotector and Super Turrican work. Maybe you can check if some of the ROMS that didn't work with the Powerpak still don't work with an NTSC NES.
