Thank you for the feedback - I appreciate it. Trying to not get too excited here, after initially passing out!
I've been looking at Wata Games grading process - would they be your recommendation for grading?
Sending it off to TX makes me nervous. After grading, seems like auction is the best route to go to max profit.
This pickup was dumb luck, really. Estate sale, didn't advertise any games, but there was a ton of new, unopened electronics.
Sounded like it was older person who liked to shop, family had no idea, and would buy multiples of things, open one and leave one. I've picked up a few common games here and there, but never went looking for them. Searching through everything at this sale and the two games were in a box in a paper bag, could have easily been picked up by anyone - there were some controllers and cords, but no nintendo in sight. When I saw them, nostalgia kicked in and I initially thought "sweet, I'll pick these up, this is what I grew up playing" - knew they were in good condition and being in box was good, but had absolutely no idea of its potential value. There wasn't much gaming stuff other than an xbox - but a ton of electronics - probably 150+ keyboards, 100+ mice, 100+ clocks, over 1000 DVDs, and then a mix of anything else you could think (razors, tools, christmas stuff, barbie dolls) - My favorite being a few boxes of dashboard hula girls, all new. Most everything was duplicates with one open and one new. I picked up a good amount of stuff.
Anyways - I really appreciate your feedback and suggestions.
