That's awesome! Too funny that I was having much the same thought, i.e. browsing through the list and thinking "Man, there has to be some low-hanging fruit here that'd be easy enough to take care of."

Low-hanging fruit is definitely what I'd call it.   Turns out I just needed to check a box in the settings of the emulator, and I was able to play and finish Sesame Street Sports. There are literally no objectives, just six wacky events where you play one of six Sesame Street Characters and go from left to right. You are told your completion time and how many collectibles you got. I thought "this might be kind of funny actually, if people competed for best time and collectibles, etc." And then I found a spot on the Elmo course where I could literally farm infinite collectibles. So we'll just scratch this one off the list and forget about it for now.

Forgot to post here but I beat Dukes of Hazzard: Racing for Home two weeks ago.

I probably enjoyed it more than I should have. There were chase missions that would glitch and require you to start over, and in some missions you could run out of missles preventing you from doing anything except starting over.

However, I always enjoyed this type of driving game . I love Super Offroad and it has that type of feel to it. I also never watched Dukes of Hazard but still got a kick out of it. I beat it at a friends house over the course of 3 nights whenever I would hang there.

Not sure if I'd recommend it to anyone but there's my two cents at least.

Just let to let everyone participating know, life has been a bit busy for me this spring but I will still be checking in and updating the list of beaten games every Monday. So if you happen to beat a game mid-week and don't see the list updated right away don't worry, it will be updated once a week on Monday. Great job so far everyone!

Sounds good, Jin. I know I've been at it awhile, but I hope to have something for you to add next Monday, Zelda: Link's Awakening DX. I'm currently in Eagle's Tower.

Great job Yoshi! Sorry it almost took me longer to update the thread than it took you to beat the game. I was recovering from thyroid surgery the last 2 weeks and it totally slipped my mind to check in on NA. I'm feeling much better now though so I should be on and contributing more regularly as well.

Thanks Jin and no worries. Glad to hear your surgery went well and that you are feeling better. I know how you feel. I had my tonsils removed a few years ago and I was out of work for two to three weeks due to swelling.

Hope to have another one for you soon. I've been playing Space Invaders off and on for the past couple of weeks.

Nice work Yoshi! The list has been updated.   I keep meaning to do Tomb Raider and Tomb Raider: Curse of the Sword but I just finished Tomb Raider: Legend on the GameCube last week and have been working on the story continuing sequel Tomb Raider: Underworld on the Wii this week. As soon as I'm done with that one though I definitely need to give the GBC offerings a go.

Thanks Jin! Sounds like you've been knocking out the Tomb Raider games lately.

Finally got around to playing through Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets!

This is my third time beating the game! It is absolutely awesome, the graphics are sweet and the music brings me to tears sometimes...

the game loops after you beat the basillisck at the end and keeps all of your stats etc.

List updated.   I think I'm finally over my GameCube and Wii binge for the time being, and having just completed Metroid II for the original Game Boy I think it's time to work on a Game Boy Color game. No idea what I'm gonna play yet, but it's definitely time for me to get back to the good old GBC.

I decided on doing a play through of The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons over the next week or so, but before I got to that rather lengthy game I thought I'd knock out a few short and simple ones for the tracker. Only the first two games below will count towards the list of games to beat on the tracker, but since we are still awarding points for Japanese and European import games this year I figured I'd do a quick play through of my favorite import game as well until I had cleared every song in every stage on Another (which is Medium) difficulty.

1942

Centipede

Dance Dance Revolution GB [Japanese Import]

Nice! I've always liked that game and found it fun for quick play sessions. It's a little short on content but still a lot of fun and a good value for the $2 or $3 a loose cart usually sells for. I've just been playing The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons all week and I think I'm right about halfway through the game at this point.

Thanks Jin! I agree with that. I appreciated the different modes and their twists. The soccer mode is pretty nasty. Once the ball gets on your or your opponents side of the field, it is very hard to clear with that defender there. And there was a lot of craziness with the arctic stage where the game decided to go multiball.

Keep up the good work with Oracle of Seasons. I'm now working on Wendy: Every Witch Way. Currently on Stage 3-2.

I did not realize how close I was to finishing the game, but Wendy: Every Witch Way is done!

The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons is done!   I played through the first third or so of the game on my Game Boy Color, then did the last 2/3 on the GameCube's Game Boy Player since Oracle of Ages & Seasons have long been some of my wife's favorite games and she decided that she wanted to watch me play Seasons. Now that that Oracle of Seasons is all wrapped up it's on to Oracle of Ages next for me!
