I just want to post an update about the messiah controllers, now that I've had a few days to use them. They took some serious getting used to because of the circle D-pad and on one of the controllers the B button was not popping back up so I had to open it up and fix that. But once I did, it was great. I haven't really noticed and input lag or anything like that. The things were expensive but easy to set up. So far, I'd say these are very worth it. My only real complaint is that the controllers don't feel extremely solid, so don't spike these things on the ground.

What's the approx. length and difficulty of that game? One I've never put the time into. 

After world one there seemd to be a spike in the difficulty curb. I died a shitload after world 1. Lol. Probably took me about 4 or 5 hrs. Wasnt a terrible game, it was quite fun, but some.of the levels got quite frustrating. Lots of.trial and error.in some.of the later levels. "hey what is.this metal.disk on the floor? Oh it semds a giant ball down on you for a 1 shot.kill..."

Mickey's Magical Quest completed. 

Just finished great circus mystery. I guess we think alike!

Magical Quest is a great game. Circus is one I still have to pick up. One of the last games I meant to get before I lost interest in collecting SNES.

I wish circus mystery wasn't so short. I love both of these titles!

edit: I guess both are pretty short to be honest... Great capcom Disney titles though!

speakingof short hgames, I tackled Run Saber. Man this needed some more levels.!

Impressive that you beat B.O.B. in just 4-5 hours over a short amount of time. I beat the Genesis version about 3 years ago, and the SNES version (which is superior in just about every way) a few months after that.

I liked B.O.B. a lot but found myself reluctant to play for longer than about one password's worth of levels at a time -- it's a little too repetitive and hard-nosed for long sessions -- so it took me several weeks to beat.

In other news, I've started tinkering with Super Battleship. In this case I think I might like the Genesis port a little better, even though they did kind of a half-assed job on it (on real hardware it crashes right after you beat the game!). Something about the UI on the SNES version feels clunky.

I was so disappointed with that game. It got so much hype and was on the infomous 'hidden gems' video and I thought it was crap. It's not terrible but it's not great either. Super easy, short, and not much to it. Starting to sound like some of my old girlfriends

And TriHart comes from behind to move up to a 3-way tie for first, and makes me re-do the leaderboards!

Space Megaforce complete. Got hung up on stage 8 once I lost my power-ups but once I got back up to lvl 6, game over.

Ninja Gaiden Trilogy complete. Quite the task beating those back to back to back. The last boss of 1 is the hardest of all three games.

I only really get quality game time in on the weekends after my kiddo goes to bed. Its looking like the tournaments are gonna start taking a chunk out that time out as well.

Yeah, I work shift work so I get good off periods (4 or 5 days straight). But then there will be four or five days where I won't get any done. We're also at the point where the games are still fun too. It seems every year once you get to around 100 things come to a grinding stop.
