Just getting back from vacation. Looks like I missed all the trash talk. Oh well, road runners can't really talk anyway. BEEP BEEP!

I like the rule change on TMNT 2. Avoiding point racking would have been quite annoying. We did that version of the rules last year. Not fun.

Good luck, everyone!

Definitely loving the new rule, actually. I've played through the first 3 stages like 10 times now trying to figure out exactly how to get the minimal amount of points as possible. I should have another score sometime tonight. And I voted for Ninja Gaiden 2.

Updated my score. I'm happy with it.

Thanks for writing. I apologize for the delay in responding to your email during this busy time of year.
In regard to your email, it is great to hear that you have found a copy of Perfect Dark for the Nintendo 64. Perfect dark was a first person shooter game that was released in May of 2000. I personally enjoyed this game a lot during my mid-teen years since it allows for up to four players to play at one time. All the Perfect Dark cartridges were black.

I hope this information is what you are looking for.

Response I received from Nintendo customer support when I asked if they knew any thing about a black Perfect Dark cart.

I may be worse at this game than any other game I have ever played.

^If you can master the jump attack, (press A slightly before pressing B) you're golden. Oh, and most bosses succumb to drop kicks.

Updated score! Tier 3 - 646

Man, this took like 20 some hours to accomplish. I was at it all last night and most of today.

Boy this is rough! I'm working on a decent score but I'll be the first to say that I suck at this game.

Score posted. Even with the rule changes I think ultimately the difference between who advances and who is eliminated will be a razor thin margin.

Sorry Doug, lol. I looked at the scores before I started playing and I thought your score was 727 instead of 737. I had 729 going into the Shredder fight. Thinking that this would only be for second place (at the moment),I half-heartedly tried to avoid the clone Shredders.

I'm content to let my score stand and hope that it's good enough to get me into the top 7. If I do make it to the next round, I hope that Donkey Kong Jr. keeps picking up votes and passes Ninja Gaiden 2 before the end of the week.

I hear you. I'm pretty happy with my score too. I'll probably try to drop it into the 720s though since I almost had it there originally and kind of pooched it away.

479 points! Was sick all week, so I could practice... I remember playing a ROM hack of this once, so I already know the basics... Thanks God for that jumpslash!

Damn. People are putting up some impressive scores.

Nice work everyone.

I'm going to have to put a lot of effort in to stay out of the bottom three.

Jealous! This game was one of my arcade white whales. I never captured it. =( I did get Captain America and the Avengers,NHL Open Ice,and Double Dragon so not a complete loss. And you won't be handing any asses to anyone considering the nes port has 2 extra levels so playing the arcade version, while way more bad ass, won't count. But you knew that already.

That lack of extra levels just means my score will be WAAAAY lower than yours

Man, we've got some good scores going all around here. I'm enjoying this game more than I thought I would, although it definitely makes me appreciate TMNT III all the more.

P.S. Vote Ninja Gaiden II
