I haven't had any luck all day. I'll have to try some more tomorrow, but I've had about enough hockey for the week.

Thanks for letting me know my  pic wasn't showing up.  I'll try something different this time.  I had time for a few more tries and got a better score anyway.  Changed my strat from all fat guys to 3 fattys and a skinny (for the faceoffs).  What line up is everyone else doing?

I've been using the same lineup. I like being able to run over the defense with my fat dudes.

Hello all, I'm brand new to nintendo age and this is my first contest post.  Just wanted to say hello to everyone...Hi!!!!  I don't think I'm going to beat 55, but the all fat guy team was fun!

** EDIT ** I see you already fixed it!

You'll need to save the file and upload it here or to another hosting site (Photobucket, etc) and link it from there. You copied a link from Gmail and pasted it as the source, which won't work unless we were ALL signed into your Gmail account.

Welcome! Been doing the fat guy team thing as well.

I just noticed that I seem to be the only one with a medium guy in the lineup. I'd imagine that a team of all big guys would be pretty slow.

The fat guys can move pretty good if you keep pounding the a button.

I like having a medium guy to help run down the puck if it gets loose since the computer can waste a bunch of time if they get ahold of it. They're also fairly good shooters if they have to take the shot in compared to the skinny guys.

Hey! I heard that .

I must be the only one that uses a medium guy in the lineup. I keep him at the top for defense in case the puck gets loose. The medium guy is fast enough to run it down and strong enough to shoot if there's not a big guy closer to the net to pass it to.

It has been a busy week. This is my 3rd attempt ever with this game. Here's my truly sad participation score LOL.

Well, I finally did it after about 100+ attempts (if you count all of the resets). I beat my old 2013 score by two goals, so I think I'm done.

Thanks! The Twin Galaxies record is 253 goals using 15 minute periods, which would average out to about 120 using 7 minute periods. I couldn't even imagine touching that!

Nice job Doug! I've been able to score 5 goals a minute, so I guess with that as a benchmark a perfect game would be 105 goals? Not that I could ever do that. But I could definitely see myself scoring 70 goals with some luck. Doubt it's gonna happen this week but you never know. You got me all fired up to try tonight!

I've been able to score a goal in 8 seconds, which would make it mathematically possible to score 52 goals per period or 156 in a full game. Even though it's possible, that's about like saying that a MLB player could potentially hit 156 Home Runs over 156 consecutive at bats.

Yeah its crazy that whoever set that record averaged 5.6 goals a minute over 15 minute periods.

That's for sure. I've been able to score 6 goals in a minute before, but to keep up that pace for 45 minutes has to be borderline perfection. The TG rules also require you to set the speed to 3, which would make it even tougher since the goalies are quicker and have a better chance of blocking your shot.

I don't think I could hit 70 or hopefully I would've done it already!

Ouch, great score! I'm not sure how much time I'll have to play this weekend, but if I get some time tomorrow I guess I'll have to give it another shot!

I have no doubt that I could've hit 70 that game. After 1st period=26, 2nd period=40, 3rd period=66... That second period is a killer when their defense gets all jacked up. All of a sudden their skinny guy can knockdown my fat guy.

I gave it a few more attempts this morning and didn't have any luck. Since 63 was a new personal best for me, I don't think I'll be able to score 70 unless I get really lucky.
