I gotta say I'm having a real tough time getting into this one. It feels like Guerilla War, except less awesome. I wanna give it a serious playthrough but don't expect a big score from me this week.

No point racking will be allowed on this one. I didn't realize there were point racking spots in the game, so I'm glad someone found it

I'm hoping to beat the game tonight. For me everything goes fine until I get to the stupid helicopter bosses at the end of stage 4 then I lose a life or two and my runs are derailed. Should have been the 2nd to last boss in the game as all the other bosses are a joke. Even the attacks from the last boss can be avoided. The stage 4 boss highlights the wonky controls. That and the mine cart guys. Still an overall good game, but the controls can be frustrating.

yeah, the later bosses can be a pain since they still can use their weapons when they are "blowing up". Found out the hard way too on the helicopter bosses.

depending on what secondary weapon you pick up...its not too bad. but going into the battle i didn't have the 2nd explosive grenades, had the thing that moves clockwise around you for a short period (don't know what its called) but had the flame thrower (which I prefer).

The mace. I never pick that up. I try to keep the red grenades and flame thrower as long as possible.

Finally beat the game without continuing. Took me longer than expected quite honestly. Thanks goes to Mattyjmania for the tip on the stage 4 boss. Using the spread shot works wonders. What also helped is I found that staying away from the edges of the bridge gives you a better chance to dodge shots even though the natural tendency (for me) is to get to the edge and blast away. Staying in the middle and carefully dodging while returning fire is the way to go. Also, for the later stages....use the scrolling to your advantage, especially with the guys who throw the red grenades. And also....when in doubt, chuck a red grenade. Just having that flak around will often kill any enemies that may be scolling on the screen, especially useful in stages 5-7. And the last thing....chuck red grenades right before a boss shows up. Often they will get hit as they appear and you will have won before the battle even started. You can do this to the last boss too as I was chucking red grenades and flaming him even before he fully appeared on screen and it does damage him and the best thing is he won't attack until fully on the screen so by the time the battle starts you will have damaged him enough that it won't take many more shots to kill him. Hope that helps someone!

Score is pathetic, but I just couldn't get myself into this game this week. It's disappointing after getting a top ten in Guerrilla War, but, I'm going to work now so that's it. It's been a bad week overall.

352,400   Well, I finally beat the game. I was feeling pretty good, and then I compared my score to Gutsman's. I misses it by 400 points. *Sigh.* Can't win 'em all...

This is all I could muster. I gave it an honest effort, but I just couldn't get proficient quickly enough.

Thanks for writing. I apologize for the delay in responding to your email during this busy time of year.
In regard to your email, it is great to hear that you have found a copy of Perfect Dark for the Nintendo 64. Perfect dark was a first person shooter game that was released in May of 2000. I personally enjoyed this game a lot during my mid-teen years since it allows for up to four players to play at one time. All the Perfect Dark cartridges were black.

I hope this information is what you are looking for.

Response I received from Nintendo customer support when I asked if they knew any thing about a black Perfect Dark cart.
