What's up once you loop the game? How is it getting harder?
Here's the video for the above run:
.
Should be noted that I haven't played this game in months and this was my very first attempt since playing it last year for a no-death attempt.
On the higher loops enemies do more damage, have more life and I'm pretty sure they also move faster and are generally more aggressive. It doesn't seem like there is much of a change to the driving stages but I'm not entirely sure. I think there are fewer health pack drops (or none) on the gun stages later on.
I've heard that loop 3 is the max difficulty, and if that's true I'm sure I could play the game indefinately with a bit more practice and max out the score. It would take a long ass time but it's definately possible. Unfortunately I don't think I have the patience for that, as around loop 3 and 1.5 hours into the game it starts to become very tedious.
Thanks for your answer, that's definitely good to know the game gets significantly harder for 3 loops. Awesome run by the way.
I had notmuch time to play this week, so I wasn't sure if I had to care about loops, but Yesterday I got all the way to the final bosses. These guys are so annoying to avoid, I was able to make them go in large circle and make room for hitting them once or twice, but my wrist was hurting from constantly going in tight circle. I'm not sure if I'll give this another try cause I'm playing it really slow since it is my first time on this game. It took you 1.5 hour to get to the third loop, I think it took me more than that just to get to the final bosses, lol.
