Today i decided to just drive because i was bored and had nothing to do and came across a huge flea market about 40 miles from my house

They had a nice assortment of CIB games for $5 each in which I bought 5 of.

Then i look to my left and see a toploader for $120. Wow.

Yeah, today we went to breakfast at our favorite place and decided to stop by the thrift store nearby. I picked up a few cheap carts for $1 each and right next to it was a CIB Double Player Wireless system for $20. You can get those cheaper on eBay! I know exactly what you're saying -- I see it all the time.

BTW, what did you pick up for $5 each? That's pretty good for CIB anything in the wild, IMO.

A complete Dragon Warrior II for $5 is a steal! Nice. Baseman, where do you live? I'm curious as to where this flea market is.

I scammed people on NintendoAge a while back. Since then, I've been unwelcome. Do not do business with me!

It has to do with the gods of the NES either smiling down or laughing at you. I had a hot spot where I consistently scored games for $2, CIB for $4, systems for $5, and then you will get nothing for the next 6 months. Its like video games never existed!

Actually, the lady that manning the booth gave me her card, apparently they run a business buying and selling used games and other things.

I definately plan on going back.

I was just in New Orleans about 4 weeks ago. I'm going back the second week of May and hoping to score some nice gaming deals. Any suggestions as where to go?

Well, to be honest I am in and out of most of the ones around there every few weeks cleaning out most stuff NES.

However, you never know what you will find.

I would check out the red, white and blue thrift store, jefferson parish flea market, and the 4-5 goodwills that they have in the 20 mile area.

I used to love the flea market until a few fleamarket trolls moved in..you know the ones that get there before the first seller and run up to every car as they pull in. Ive even see them dive into cars and start tearing thru stuff before the person has a chance to get out of their car. I like finding stuff but wont stoop to these levels

Old aunts used to come up to me at weddings, poking me in the ribs and cackling, telling me, "You're next." They stopped after I started doing the same thing to them at funerals.
