I haven't seen them live (I wish), but the most recent stuff I've seen was from YT videos like their 2009 concert where they coved the 'Reunited' song, as well as seeing Patton have a recent get-together with Chuck Mosley and sung a few songs before he passed away.

But that's the sad last "gee isn't it obvious we're about to break up?" album.    What do you have against the happy peppy music from their prime?  Not to mention their fantastic live concerts that you find on YouTube?

If I wanted sad, depressing, crying in my, eh, coffee music, that's what old time classic country is for.  Probably my favorite genre (along with 80s, seeing as how I was born in '80), especially the 70s outlaw era.

I actually don't mind peppy ABBA, but I can only take so much pop music treacle from anybody before I go on a homicidal rampage. Or just get tired of it. I like cotton candy, but I'm not having it for every meal.

Visitors is on a higher level of complexity and achievement. Seriously, give it a real listen. It's truly a work of art.

And Garth Brooks ruined country for me forever.

Garth Brooks did for country what Michael Jordan did for basketball...no really they're from about the same era and had about the same impact in about the same way.

And ABBA is NOT cotton candy   If I want cotton candy that's what our annual county fair is for. Geez, I could get used to that whole If I want...then that's what...is for sentence!

Yeah, made it so every schlub who came along think he could dunk or sing. At least Jordan could ball. Brooks made country too mainstream and everyone started to sound like him. Country sucked horse nuts once he hit.

As I said, I like early ABBA in small doses. But I can hear Mamma Mia once and I'm good for a year.

So if let's say you hear it on the radio or something one too many times, is your reaction, "Mamma Mia...here we go again..."?

Sick! I loved mr. bungle all through school, saw tomahawk, and fantomas a few times too. Used to like Mike Patton  a lil too much. Seen him in interviews and he seemed like a dick, but I met him at his merch booth at Fantomas and he was actually really nice.. show was nuts. The bass player from bungle had a three piece jazz group then the locust played and blew my mind grapes with sounds never before heard by these ears and then fantomas.
