Ok, so my buddy and I are playing some awesome Co-op games on the SNES last weekend, and he tells me about an Awesome Co-op game he used to play as a kid!

Obviously he is an idiot and can't remember the title to the game

What he does remember: He swears the game was either on the NES or SNES He said one person would drive a tank / truck and player 2 would control / shoot the gun on the truck

I showed him Firepower 2000 and he said that wasn't it

I think the arcade version of Jackal plays like that, but swears in was a console game...

Any thoughts?? Sounds like fun!!

Thanks,

Zwario

Sounds so familiar but can't place it. It does, however, make me want to play Lucky & Wild.

Hmmmm... Maybe, I'll show it to him, and we'll see?? Were there any other games that had the 2 players control separate parts of a ship / truck / mech / thing??

Seems to me Gurilla War might have had that feature, but I'm probably wrong. As usual.

Or P.O.W...dang! Now this is going to bug me until I know.

Oooh my favorite type of post!

A mystery!

This sounds like a Playstation game I played not to long ago, I can go take a look at my library and try to see if I can remember it.

Is your buddy positive it was either NES or SNES?

Ok, so we fired up Geurilla War on NES last night... Fun... But That's not it... And we dont have POW in our library, but a quick wiki search said it was only 1 player on NES

At first he was 100 % that the game was on NES or SNES, but now he's only 75% haha... He swears it was a jeep/truck and player 1 drove, and player 2 shoots!?!

On another note, we did fire up Smash TV with 4 controllers, and with 4 people and some beers... That is a good time!!

Man oh man! This is a great post. I also remember the game but can not remember the title. I don't remember the specific system, but rather I feel as if it's an arcade game. But I vividly remember a game where one player controlled the vehicle and other aimed the gun.
