Too bad we can't nuke them from orbit. It would be the only way to be sure.

I just wanna say for any who might be thinking I'm doing otherwise: I am definitely not sitting on a huge score waiting to snipe the win, or anything like that. Last week I was busy and this weekend is the Stormblood Early Access, so I've just not had a ton of time to play Defender. I'm planning to give it a solid go tonight and tomorrow.

Here's my first score submission, from my broadcast today:

195,800



I need to play a bit more to reach a top score, but after an hour or two of playing I think I've bridged the initial gap that I had to in order to put up such a score. By tomorrow evening I should be able to more than double this, for sure.

You should have ordered a cart. It's dirt cheap. I paid $3.99 plus shipping for my loose cart that is in superb condition.

Anyone else think that the bullets are the worst threat? Once the difficulty ramps up, those green guys are basically spraying out bullets and I cannot consistently dodge them. It helps that you can shoot the bullets but they're not always going to be in front of you.
