I'd personally say that cart-only, this game is worth around $110-115, so if you're looking for one, you might be able to get it for that Best Offer price (or lower). I know the seller, and he's pretty reasonable. This is the only Scandivavian-only release out there, and if you haven't played this game yet, it's a really fun (and difficult) game:

This seller is one of the best out there. I bought my Airball proto off him. This is also where NGD got the Caltron for $139 plus the Caltron manual for free. He knows the worth of this cart (lol, he asked me what it was) and if it sells for the asked amount that's fine with him. If not, he does take best offers. Worth a shot if you don't already have it

Does this game work good in a NTSC NES? I'd love to get this game since it's really fun albeit hard as heck.

Unfortunately no it doesn't work too hot on NTSC, the status bar (among other things) is all garbled

I think it works pretty well, but as BootGod pointed out, the bottom status area is a little off. I think it's still very playable.

It plays pretty well on my top loader, worth picking up for sure.

I was playing SMB from Italy today, and the speed was all screwy. It was like Mario was on crack, he was running about double speed. Even the music was twice as fast. I played it for about 20 mins cause it made the game a lot more fun.

Dain (or NGD) is the status bar completely garbled or is it still readable for you? I don't actually have the cart, I burnt the ROM to a Batman: ROTJ cart and tried playing it on my NES. The status bar was completely unusable. But maybe the PCB isn't exactly the same as the real thing.

Mine had a few graphical glitches, but it wasn't anything bad at all. You could play it easily and it not bother you. I played it for 2-3 hours the first day I got it in fact.

I want the box and manual really bad! Wish I would have picked them up as I've seen them on ebay in the past few months.

I'll probably pass on this game. It's really good but I'm not sure if it's $100+ fun.

Sidenote: Has anyone finished this game on the actual console? Or gotten all the hidden treasure/gotten to the final level? I did it once (took me all night and part of the next day to do it though) on my friend's JPN copy.

Mr. Gimmick is indeed a great game. In my opinion its definitly one of the best games for NES. Great controller, great gfx, GREAT music, secret places, 2 ways to beat the game etc etc. Usualy rare games sux and are boring, but its sad that Mr. Gimmick is so hard to get since its one of the best games for NES as mentioned
