Late reply, but this really caught my attention that ebay allows this.  Not sure how some other established and graded collectibles are treated on ebay, but with coins there are strict rules against listing a numerical grade opinion in the title or description of raw coins.  Adjectives are acceptable (i.e., "About Uncirculated").

This has been going on for a few years now, and recently I received an email stating that only NGC & PCGS is acceptable for listing a coin as graded now, and anything listed at $2500 or above MUST be graded by NGC or PCGS.  This is obviously because of all the copycat grading companies (NNC, PCCS, etc) that sprung up over night to confuse buyers (read: old people investors) plus all the counterfeits that sold for big bucks.

The scamming protection to dollar amount ratio was the real catayst, but 5 figure game sales are no joke, whether or not they are worth it.  It just feels funny that you can buy a sealed game on ebay for $10K+ that is raw with a description stating it will VGA a 90, but a $2500 coin must be graded by a chosen company to be listed at all.  I'm sure we will soon be looking back on this as the "old days".  Look out for VVA or VCA to be grading games next.

Anyone else held to strict collectible policies on ebay?  Comics, Action Figures, anybody?

apart from "guaranteeing" a grade which is questionable at best of course, there's no rules like that for comics.

Hence why I have always limited my coin collecting to PCGS graded coins.  They have always been my favorite and I love the online set registry too.  In fact I like it so much I bought stock in their company years ago.  Pays a huge dividend as well which definetly doesn't hurt!

These were sold after the system expired to collectors by the case. I'm curious if a lower graded VGA score for this game exists?

I'm assuming blarky parted out his Deluxe Set, because I saw that his Duck Hunt sold for $19,999? I wish I would have bought the Deluxe Set myself for ~$7k and done that instead of suggesting that you do it!

Yeah I had to remove it because it ended Yesterday (9/24), and the FAQ says wait 14 days to post unless it's yours and you want to risk a backdoor. Sorry man, will post it in 2 weeks.
