And here is the second lot I picked up. The seller was really sketchy so it's all just random shit cobbled together. I'm going to list it rather than spread it on the floor and take a proper picture.
4 SNES consoles (no cords...one of them I could not get working)
2 NES consoles (1 set of cords...I haven't tested them. One console is missing the flap)
1 Sega Genesis console
2 Playstation consoles (both with broken flaps)
2 SNES controllers (bad condition)
1 NES Max controller
3 Sega Genesis controllers (they're all different from the normal controllers)
1 Playstation controller
4 XBox controllers (1 clear)
And then some random cords

All for $45. I need to get some power adapters and more controllers so I can sell these Super Nintendos.

Haven't really been posting my finds due to laziness...but I scored at Goodwill yesterday so I thought I would share. I got this at $4 a game...

NES:
Ninja Gaiden III with box (near-mint condition)
Ninja Gaiden

SNES:
Mega Man X2
Super Metroid
Star Trek: Deep Space Nine
Sonic Blast Man
The Terminator
T2: Judgment Day
Race Drivin'
World Heroes
The Lion King

N64 (all for resale):
GoldenEye
Super Mario 64
Banjo-Kazooie

As usual, I find a bunch of good stuff for cheap and then buy games that are hardly worth that (hence all the SNES commons).

Very nice find! Especially on that NG3 with box.

Check out this really awesome WTB thread that I found, I heard this guy wants games at the cheapest rate possible!  Now on the look out for Unlicensed NES!

I had two good Christmas Eve finds yesterday. The first was a normal online SNES lot for $75...console with two controllers, 8 games (SM Kart, SMW, Mario Paint, SMRPG, Spider-man/Venom Maximum Carnage, X-Men Mutant Apocalypse, DinoCity, and Tournament Fighters) plus a Super Game Bpy with Donkey Kong Land and SM Land 2. However, I did not realize that there would also be booklets to go with each game, plus some inserts/posters/random N64 manuals...

All of those Mario games + the console will easily pay for the lot and then some, plus I get a condition upgrade on my SMRPG.

And after that find, I went into a pawn shop I had visited a few days before and decided to buy a game I had seen there for 25 dollars. I talked the guy into giving it to me for $20 and got this...

There were some nasty Blockbuster stickers on the back but I got them off and it looks new. That knocks a toughie off my N64 cart-only list (though it's the most I have paid for one game in a loooong time), but it'll be a huge chunk out of my resources once I spring for the box and booklet. And last of all, I talked the guy into giving me a SMB2 box for free just because it had the wrong game (SMB/DH) inside. Woo!

Also, it's not really a find since I bought it on eBay, but as a Christmas present I bought myself two good-condition CIB N64 games, some of the best ones in the library...of course, I am talking about Elmo's Letter Adventure and Elmo's Number Journey.

I haven't posted here in a while (I hate uploading pics), but I've had a few good purchases so I thought I would share the best ones. Behold...
Complete Expansion Pak - $10. Posting it because it's different...and because EPs sell for $15-$20 in my region.

Complete Super Scope - with some other stuff for $50. Still has the sensor, scope, foam insert etc. This thing looks awesome in my gaming room and thus it makes this list.

NES cabinet in box - $25. I talked about this recently but here is the actual one I bought. I'm actually not too crazy about it.

Ninja Gaiden Trilogy - $60 in a lot, now paid off. Bought this with 2 NES consoles, Mario Kart 64, and Orb 3-D for the NES. I've made my money back and now I'm left with this crappy cart. Don't know if I will find a buyer once I find a nice looking one, but whatevs.

Chrono Trigger - $10. This is my first copy so far. Listed at $10 - when I got there to pick it up the girl was like, "You're lucky. I just found out this game is worth $150." Then I told her it was worth more like $60 but she wouldn't listen. Damn Game City brainwashing. I ended up buying more stuff off her that she forgot to list and I've sold most of it, so I've already paid this one off. And I got both volumes of the Super Mario Brothers show on DVD from her! (spoiler: it's not worth watching sober)

Harvest Moon 64 (box and booklet only) - $5 among other things. I FINALLY convinced my old work friend's sister to part with this. Along with it I got the box and book for Yoshi's Story (but like everything Yoshi's Story related, they're in pretty bad condition). Also: Tony Hawk Pro Skater box and book with it.

And now, the item that will make the rest look sub-par by comparison...

The Millenium controller! I got this for $40 from my cousin after dealing with his initial refusal to sell it (which lasted for a few painful months). I think he realized it has much more use sitting on a collector's shelf then laying hidden in his basement.
Will post more soon! (I'm serious this time)

Sweet score on the Millennium controller!

SO today was a pretty good day for game hunting! I had already planned to go pick up Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire for Gamecube (currently in an HP phase) for one dollar...then I was able to line up a $10 purchase for Pikmin 2, complete and in nice condition. Not bad!

After that, I went to buy some NES games off some dude with really inconsistent pricing. They weren't
dirt cheap, but there are some good titles in here...

Fire 'N Ice - $30
Duck Tales 2 - $35
$35 - Kid Icarus , Zen: Intergalactic Ninja, Godzilla 2, Super Mario World

But the best part of my day came when a woman called me responding to my wanted ad. She said she had about 60 NES games to get rid of, I asked her how much she wanted, she said $300. I told her it's pretty steep for NES titles, and asked her to read out some titles over the phone. After telling me some of the games had their boxes, she rattles off some common games for a while...

"Kirby's Adventure, Startropics, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Mega Man 3, Final Fantasy, Panic Restaurant..."

And that's when my heart almost stopped! I arranged to go to her house later to cherrypick through her games, and hours later I got a mint copy of Panic Restaurant for five bucks...

...and as I am flipping through her small stack of manuals, SURPRISE!!

Here are the rest of the games. They were all 5 bucks or under (she gave some to me @ 2 for $5). I also got an NES with two set of hook-ups and some controllers/QuickShots for $20. Spent $165 with her in total, keeping a good chunk of the stuff.

Top game: Xenophobe

Left Column:
Empire Strikes Back
Flying Warriors
Final Fantasy
Legendary Wings
Mega Man 3
Ultimate League Soccer
Superspike V Ball
Life Force
Baseball Simulator 1.000

Right Column:
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Monster Party
Dash Galaxy in the Alien Asylum
Castle of Dragon
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Manhattan Project
Dirty Harry
Tetris
Rambo
Touchdown Fever

And this picture is for Paul, in case he is reading...

Cheers!

Wow she wasn't too bright hahaha $5 for panic restaurant and with the book. You got me beat by $4 on a 'cheap' Duck Tales 2 so good job there. You made an overall killing at $185.

By the way how is that Zen game and Godzilla 2? I know the original Godzilla wasn't all that good and had that weird strategy map.

Very nice find! I've considered running one of those ads, but they always rub me the wrong way. With finds like that, though, you can't argue against it.

Tanooki: Haven't tried Zen or Godzilla 2 yet. The guy told me Zen is a terrible game, and I wasn't a fan of the original Godzilla, so they probably aren't hidden gems or anything.

KingofGames: Yeah, usually you get really crappy replies from people insisting their stuff is worth OMG SO MUCH but every once in a while you can score if you sift through the crap. I have another decent find from the other day that I will post soon, which I acquired with the wanted ad method.

Nintendonut1983: Thanks for the offer but I'm going to keep it. I don't think I will run into a minty cart like this for a long time.

Thought I would post my find from about a week back as well. Nothing too outrageous here, but these are my first sealed NES games and they are in good condition. It feels really neat to hold these, too bad I've never played any of the games...got this whole lot for $30 (there was also a Duck Hunt gun with the plastic cord holder in there).

And then there is this beauty...

Does anyone know what's up with this box? It looks horrible. I was expecting the standard Power Pad box and was sorely disappointed.

Today I found an ad on Kijiji that said "old Nintendo 22 Games $30, please call after 5:00". I was like WHAAAT so I ended up driving to a spot about 5 minutes from the person's house, called, and sealed the deal. I was terrified someone else would have already snatched it up. I had no idea what I was about to buy, it ended up being a bunch of solid N64 games (plus console), I'm only keeping the last two.

Super Mario 64
Pokemon Stadium
Star Wars Pod Racer
Star Wars Shadows of the Empire
Star Wars Rogue Squadron
Yoshi's Story
Jet Force: Gemini
San Francisco Rush: Extreme Racing
Top Gear Rally
LoZ: Majora's Mask
Mario Kart 64
Pokemon Snap
FIFA 98: Road to World Cup
Turok 2: Seeds of Evil
Cruis'n USA
Quake
WCW vs. NWO World Tour
Diddy Kong Racing
GoldenEye
Starfox 64
MRC Multi Racing Championship
NHL Breakaway '98

+ N64 console (with expansion pack) and four solid controllers (all good joysticks).

I don't believe that you are kidding! Haha this recent lot has nothing even remotely rare in it though, really only good for resale since N64 carts are everywhere here and thus I have most of them. I was actually hoping it was an NES with games even though the games sell for less. I don't really like paying for common NES carts so it's nice to knock a bunch off the list at once but OH WELL
