I still don't get it. If he keeps winning his own auctions, doesn't he have to pay ebay fees? and hence, losing money each time he relists it?

Not if he bids on his own auctions with a throwaway account.  All he has to do is file a non-paying bidder case, wait 4 days, close it due to non payment, and then he get's a refund on his fees.  I would think eBay would catch on to a pattern here though.

This game store near my house posted on Facebook yesterday about a large lot of CiB NES games that came in, and included in the box was the holy grail... a CiB copy of Stadium Events!

I was reluctant to post this here yesterday, as I was still awaiting a price from the owner, in hopes that he'd let it go for a good deal. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case, but I figured I'd post it here anyways hoping that someone will be able to obtain this who really wants it.

He currently has it listed for $5999.99 in his web store at the moment, but said the price may fall a bit depending on how long it sits. 

I figure, even if it drops substantially, I still cannot afford it, so I'll let you guys check in on it from time to time to see what happens. 


I went and looked at it in person and it looks legit, so good luck to whoever ends up with it. I just wish it could be me.

6k is actually reasonable compared to 23k or ahem 500k (ha).

Thats true... they are really cool guys up there too, so I know they aren't trying to screw anyone too hard. They mentioned yesterday that they just want it to go to a good home (like a pet of sorts).

It isn't really worth it... their prices are way too high on most stuff, but they will work with you every now and then on some things. But yeah... after that price hike, I'm not really sure what to think.

Rarity aside...Stadium Events is a crap game. Hmmm, should I get a new car, and pay off the mortgage on my house, or buy a sealed copy of a crappy game that I'll never get to play, because a bunch of other people want it. We made this happen.
