If the Habs/Lightning game is any indication of the rest of the playoffs, we're in for one hell of a post season.

I'll be at game 3 in Dallas. We really missed Dillon as a physical defensive force against Getzlaf and Perry in Game 1, and Sergei Gonchar continues to be horribly disappointing. If Kari Lehtonen can play like he did in the 2nd half of the game, as opposed to the 1st, the Stars have a chance, with Benn and Seguin leading the way scoring. I don't expect and upset, but I do expect a 6 or 7 game series, just based on how the Stars handled the Ducks in the regular season.

Great game by the Red Wings, it's amazing what Babcock can do with that team. That Datsyuk goal was unreal.

Detroit is just a nightmare matchup in the first round, and 5 Bruins are out with the flu and injuries. Bergeron and Iginla are playing hurt, too. I think Detroit may just be better with the current players on the ice, and if they get Zeterberg back, watch out.

Lucic should be suspended a game as well, which doesn't help.
What a dumbass.

Tough break for Chicago, they at least deserved a split the way they played.

Good for CBJ, their first ever playoff win. They're looking like a tough team to play against, good forecheck.

Well shit, the Sharks look downright scary. 13 goals in 2 games vs LA, that doesn't happen often. The Kings better remember how to play defense on the bus home.

The major thing that worries me about the Sharks is that they still take a period off every game.   I don't think they'll be able to have that same success in LA if they do that there.

I'm glad this year that the offense is finally awake though.   And you're right about their defense, Quick looked like he was stuck in a practice drill for how badly they hung him out to dry on a few of those.

I think the Habs are a bit of a dark horse. They should beat TB, then could beat the Pens before facing the Bruins in the East final. They really play well vs Boston. If Carey Price can steal the show, wouldn't surprise me to see them in the SCF. They've been playing very well the last month or so, too.

Nice to see a Blue Jackets fan too They got some really good young players on that team, Johansen will be a superstar in the next few years.

I'm really excited for the future of the Bluejackets.  I really don't expect them to make much noise this year but if they could upset any team it would be Sh*ttsburgh.  Fleury has lost his playoff mojo, I hate Sidney Crosby and hate the city of Pittsburgh in general.  I'm just excited to finally have a reason to watch the playoffs!!

Slightly unrelated, but I like to use this any chance I get.

Those rings will definitely help you win this year.  Blue Jackets have taken home ice!

I still think the Pens will pull out the series but I'm just glad to finally see a playoff win for my squad.

Haha it is already a more interesting series than I expected! Blue Jackets are tough.

I'm not sure about the series. It'll certainly be an interesting series in Columbus. Best of luck to your Jackets! Usually I root heavily against whoever knocks the Pens out, but CBJ would be a rare case where I turn to root for them. I've got nothing against the team and I'd like to see them do well.

Tough finish for CBJ, but you can't have the Pens in your zone the whole game and expect to win. They need more time in the Pen's zone, if not for chances then to draw some penalties, as CBJ's PP has looked really sharp.
