Found it at a pawnshop over the weekend and was pretty excited about the find since i know its rare as hell to come by, even harder with a figure. It was reasonably priced considering it came with the figure. It has the wizard, sadly the original cardboard incert was lacking. Was wondering how much these figures are worth since i know there are very few known to be in collector's hands.

Pics to follow later, im in class at the moment.

I don't believe it. The two legit ones found on eBay were both Warriors. Now that everyone has been talking about the figurines lately, one randomly appears with a Wizard? I'll believe it when a non-collector sells one on eBay that has a different figure. Too early to say otherwise, because collectors know value and would frankenstein one together to add money.

And wait, so the figurine is included but the white tray is not? That makes no sense at all, makes it less believable. Who would keep the figurine and not the tray. As far as I'm concerned, this is definitely frankensteined together.

Also, as far as I know, you were trying to sell this to Zak too (he PMed me price checking it). Once again, one hell of a coincidence... people find out about extra figurines within the past two weeks. Zak posts a high bounty. You find one at a pawn shop with a different figurine, yet no tray. Then try to sell it to Zak claiming as legit.

Like I said, collectors see the value so now you get people trying to frankenstein them together, when the only two known 100% copies came with Warriors. So a lot doesn't add up here.

Wizard figures do exist, as do many other gauntlet pewter figurines.....but as far as several of us are concerned, the N64 game only shipped with the warrior.

The wizard figure does exist.  It just hasn't been found as one of the pewter figures in the Guantlet Legends box variant.  The Wizard was given away at an E3 show (freebee) back in 1998 along with 3 other figurines (Edited to add...this was one way of getting Wizard).

The ONLY figure to surface in the N64 box variant is Warrior.  That's what Jonas is saying, and I'm agreeing with.

No problem Ed.  One thing for clarification from my initial edit above is that it was a pack of 4 figures together.  They weren't given out individually at the event.

Edit one more time :  The 4 figures were: Skorne, Valkyrie, Wizard and Archer

Well let me say this, there is no definitive proof either way right now. We don't have a Midway stamped letter saying "Only the Warrior came with the N64" version.

However, what we do know, is that the two that have surfaced through legitimate means (i.e. sold 100% complete and not pieced together), both had the Warrior.

We also know that there was a mail away offer with the PS1 / Dreamcast version of the game, that would let you obtain some figurines:

The current theory is that the Warrior is the N64 exclusive. Over time, I believe this will be proven as the Warrior should surface to the top in terms of rarity. I've already seen sets sold or pics of sets missing the Warrior.

People can form whatever opinion they like, but one collector showing a loose figurine with a box (after many loose figurines were sold / talked about over the past weeks) doesn't prove anything. Especially with the tray missing. The tray is either missing because someone pieced it together, or simply because it doesn't even fit in the first place.
