Actually it's not quite that bad. But it does have constantly respawning enemies that you have to avoid, and there are no continues.

I was doing good and game over'd on level 30. The game alternates between levels where you almost can't lose and levels that are pretty demanding because you start with such low fuel.

I wish this game didn't roll the score so I didn't have to keep getting up and taking two pictures when I'm close to a million. Have a bigger score counter, dammit.

Someone will have to do the following in order to get first or second place:

Play every level, no skips.

Beat the game.

Get a multiplier of 10 on every race.

Shoot as many enemies as possible while being accurate enough to keep the multiplier at 10.

Even if you're capable of beating the game without continuing, you can get some extra points by using those two credits and then beating the game on your final credit.

Skinny has probably already done all this and has gotten the highest possible score or close to it. Maybe Bert as well.

I estimated that to be about two million points.  So I gave skinny 100,000 in a margin of error

I think a perfect game could be as high as 2,500,000, but I think most of the turret shots would be near impossible for a human to pull off.

Okay, I can't get past level 42. It's one of those low fuel levels, and I keep crashing. I run out of fuel very quickly, and by this point I'm on my last credit.
