think I was on my way to a decent score there, of course beating krang and the super shredder isn't so easy.

Wow! I go away for a few days, and the scoreboard is lit up! Nice job everybody! I'm going to go see if I can't stay in the top ten this week...

I'm sure you'll put together something impressive before the deadline.

Updated score. Still not much, though I met my own personal goal of getting more than 120k, so I'm damn proud

I'd like to prove you right guts, but I'm done. I should just try to stay alive instead of going for points, but nah...  Died twice before I even realized it on my last attempt.  I wish I could like this game more...

It's grown on me since I first played it two years ago. I hated it back then. I still like TMNT 2 better, but this is a really good game. I just wish it wasn't so cheap.

I'm sure you'll make up for this week by crushing it in Dusty Diamond and Puzznic, two games I am not very good at.

Yeah.  I played it back when it came out, but just as a rental.  Didn't get much time into it, but that's been...many years now.

Get too close and they grab ya, too far away and you miss, jump in and they punch you away, walk in and they punch.  Just about everything takes a bar of life it seems.  Really, I just suck at these types of games.  Can't be good at 'em all I guess.

Puzznic will be fun.  Not much into baseball games except RBI Baseball.  Had never played Dusty Diamond until I got it not too long ago.  But, it's a sports game...

Particpiation, as I'm not sure I'll have time for more this week.

This week's game got me thinking... Has anyone ever suggested doing a two player contest of some sort? Games like this one are infinitely superior when played with a buddy.

The fielding in Dusty Diamond's has a bit of a learning curve to say the least. I finally managed to win a game yesterday, so hopefully I can put up a decent score.

I got another score update in, but it wasn't enough to catch link463 or Balloon_Kid. I guess I'm going to just have to tip my cap to you guys and head back to the dugout. Those are some amazing scores!

That sounds like a good idea for a campout/meet up type thing, but it might be tough to find a buddy that's both good at that week's game and available to play on the same schedule for it to work during a weekly contest.

Took me a while to win a game. Finally beat it last night. I've got the fielding down for the most part but I can't seem to consistently get hits or score runs. 90% of the time I ground out to an infielder, another 5% are flyouts,4% are home runs, and the remaining 1% are base hits. Should be called Dusty Diamond's All-Star Home Run Derby.

No kidding. I started calling it Dusty Diamond's Beer League Softball.

Updated my score and I still came up short. I could have topped the high score but three or four mousers grabbed me before I grabbed them. I don't have it in me for another run, so I'm going to call it for this week. As you can probably tell from my pics, Going for points nearly caused me to screw up the whole operation. Congrats, balloon-kid! You got me.

Thanks for writing. I apologize for the delay in responding to your email during this busy time of year.
In regard to your email, it is great to hear that you have found a copy of Perfect Dark for the Nintendo 64. Perfect dark was a first person shooter game that was released in May of 2000. I personally enjoyed this game a lot during my mid-teen years since it allows for up to four players to play at one time. All the Perfect Dark cartridges were black.

I hope this information is what you are looking for.

-
Response I received from Nintendo customer support when I asked if they knew any thing about a black Perfect Dark cart.

This is a good point. Maybe someone will invent the NES that allows you to play two player with a friend someplace else...

Maybe bunnyboy should make that a feature on his HDMI NES. Either that or I need to convince arnpoly to visit Cincinnati during Double Dragon 2 week.

I don't think I could have gotten close to that score even with a full week of practice. I guess I'll just have to hope that I can hold onto 3rd place.
