Hmm, probably because of caching. Try refreshing the page with F5 or Ctrl+R (or something else, depending on your browser).

Wow, this is brilliant! Thanks!  Amazing music, even without DPCM, too.  Considering that you can unlock a certain game mode, and the fact you can clear stages with varying time and score, would it be possible to include (or if it already does) a save feature to keep track of your best times and score, and whatever else would be useful?

Actually, it seems to be missing some dialogue, such as the striking "DO NOT TOUCH MASTER Y'S BALLS".  Did you forget, or was there a memory limitation?

And if you want to makes "Lods of emone", you could earn major Brony Bucks if you made a port of that one MLP game.  Those idiots will buy anything, such as a $4,000 plush of Fluttershy.

Possible, yes, but I didn't want to have 8KB extra RAM just to use 20 bytes out of it. I could've had that an option, and maybe I'll add it at some point, but then I also have to change the mapper to MMC1 among other stuff.

All the dialogue should be there, are you sure you're playing the game in Story mode?

Yes it's the full version (the game itself isn't that long, though, but should provide decent challenge for a first time player).

The dialogue is all there, but you can occasionally skip it if you don't "stand" in the trigger spot.

Good example is the com room where you grapple the latch, if you do it right you can skip the text.

Yeah. But just to clarify, the original version works the same way.

I'm just mentioning it because I think that might be why he didn't see the dialogue

Yeah, it seems like I didn't trigger them, as I quickly came across that line of dialogue after I posted the inquiry. Now all we need is a label for it, and we're done.

Problem with that is that we'd need artwork for this game, and I don't think there's any at the moment.

Here's a rough sketch, in this thread.

http://nintendoage.com/forum/mess...

I wonder if that Great Gatsby game will also see an NES conversion, and finally become a real prototype?

It's on my list, but I don't know if I'm talented enough to pull it off.

Oh, cool news, Kevin! It doesn't seem to be that complex of a game, unless later levels are using "advanced NES trickery".  I do know the main player has a lot of colors, and using more than two sprite palettes would be a waste.

If you want to include the color red, then I guess you'd need to overlay two sets of tiles, one skin tone/white/black, and one brown/black/red.  Is my guessing accurate?  I know the butlers use the same skin tone/white/black palette, and thankfully, said pallete is probably the most versatile in the work.

Maybe Fox could help you with the stuff you're struggling with, seeing with what he did with this game?

And another problem is that this game is NOT in the public domain, so please do not make and sell cartridges (or CIB) of it without permission (read the license ). We are currently looking into our options for a cart/CIB release.

^This.

Would be the best option for buyers as he uses new parts. I'm just wondering if it's worth Bunny Boy's time as there isn't a 50+ waiting list for a cart (or at least there isn't yet). I'd like to see what he has to say about it though.
