Don't you think I reported it already? I reported it the minute you posted the info on Nesdev. How can you even assume I didn't do it? Do you have special contact at ebay telling you I didn't, pfff ]]>

3- I already Apologized to the community and you too, i don't know why you are holding a grudge.

Im tired of this I just called the guy and told him the chips are not working because there was an error while burning the chips that is why it keeps freezing (to satisfy SkinnyV)

Now im calling ebay and make them taking it off.

______________________________________________________________________________________

Ebay said they will take about 3 days to review the listing and take the auction off.

I called the guy again and told him that it was unethical and h could be prosecute because it is a fake item.

He told me "but you sell Reproductions" and I told him, yes I sell reproductions and sell them as reproductions.

you are selling reproduced eproms as original. your board is nintendo brand but your eproms are reproduction.

He changed the ebay description but still states that the board is original steven seagal.

edit:

http://www.gamesniped.com/2012/05/11/snes-prototype-boards-nes-immortal-prototype/

at the time of the comment I had understood that bubsy was in the bundle and he had boogerman working.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The owner bought a lot if intelplay developer cards with 11 chips.

-he got to work Lost vikings.

- I believe he read this blog post http://www.nintendoplayer.com/prototype/steven-seagal-is-the-final-option-prototype/

and since 1 board on the bundle he bought was very similar; he thought he could pull this scam off.

- I sell reproductions locally in Houston, he contacted me out of a craigslist ad. asking me to burn some erpoms he mistakenly deleted. and he was a collector and wanted to have his prototype working for his collection.

- I (yes this was very dumb, and stupid and im aware of that) re-burned the chips at no charge.

- He also had eproms with a label "BT32V" which I thought it was very intriguing, (i did not know any possible rom with that name) so I asked him if I could take a look at them to see if I could make it work. They didn't worked but I dumped the files. and we agreed we would meet again to give him this chips back.

- 2 Days after I gave him his Steven seagal, I see the Steven proto online, So I posted it here and nesdev. I also went and told him on ebay the proto seemed fake. (he didn't know my ebay account name). The same day he posted the proto on ebay was the day we were going to meet to give him the BT32V chips.

- We meet, he mentions the user that keeps telling him that the proto is fake (without knowing is me). He asks me to raise the auction to 11K because he has a 10k offer from a guy from Spain but he has a 15k reserve; and he offered money to me if the proto card would sell for 10k (i don't know how he can see the maximum bid on someone on ebay). But I told him that my account was suspended because I hadn't paid my ebay bill.

-I changed my user name account (if you want to know it to see my feedback on repros PM me).

-He has been texting me that the proto freezes at some points. I just told him that the game was never finished and I did not know if that would be the rom, an error burning the chips, or an anti-piracy protection like earthbound. He never replied back.

-Because I did not charged him to burn this eproms, he gave me a proto card with about 5 chips.

2 Clay fighter chips, another chip with an I , another chip with black tape, and another chip with boogerman on the label.

- if anyone is interested in taking a look to these roms (7 total) let me know. I have only made Clay fighter 2 start but not play (on the emulator, on the console i get a green screen only).

I know it was a bit stupid from my part to burn the chips, but I did it with good intentions and to try to build a relationship with the retro gaming community in Houston. I guess I can't trust people anymore.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Edit:

And the reason I been looking at prototypes lately, is because I want to dump an undumped rom to the community, don't ask me why, i just  want to, So I want to buy a proto that has never been dumped lol. I found the Falcon snes proto, but it went for like 300 bucks, and I just don't have that amount of money right now. the Lost Vikings 2 thread i made it before figuring out the same guy was the guy about the Steven proto, with that listing is how I found the steven seagal because It doesn't show up when you make the "snes prototype" search on ebay.

My guess is that the OP and the eBay seller are the same, and the person is just trying to use these threads this to draw attention to their auctions.
